Cranked this one on the way in to work this morning....Goran Edman is still the man and I LOVE the songs!

I really like the Laneslide album, personally. Solid, straight ahead AOR from front to back....strong stuff. It's not trying to reinvent the wheel, rather they're flying the flag...whcih I'm all for.

I want to care about a new Boston album...but after Corporate America and with the loss of Brad Delp, I just don't.

Mickey Thomas is the man....stellar voice.

I feel like that the first two TNT albums with Mills suffered from Ronni's need to be quirky and odd...had they rocked more (like the third one) he'd have fared much better.

That said, I'm happy to see Harnell come back...I loved the last 2 he did with the band.

Two words...

LINE OF FIRE GET WILD WITH NEW DRUMMER

After an exhaustive seven-month search, LINE OF FIRE have announced the addition of new drummer Brent "Wildman" Enman. Along with his impressive skills behind the kit, Brent also brings years of stage and studio experience to Line Of Fire and will no doubt be the band's secret weapon.

In addition to their 2013 appearances at MelodicRock Fest 3 and Rock Harvest 2, the band is planning many more live appearances throughout 2014 as well as beginning work on their third album and follow up to 2010's Momentum release on Tribunal Records. The band released their self-titled debut in 2005.

The Divebomb Records remater/reissue of 'Nevertheless' turned out really good....IMO.

Paul Shortino is so awesome!!

Heard about this yesterday...so sad. Brett was super talented and he will be missed.

AdrianGale vocals were done over a few days while Vic was wrangling everything else. Jamie flew into NY and tracked all his vocals then flew home a few days later. It had no bearing at all on Guardian's progress.

Then what the bloody hell is the hold up with Guardian?

 

No idea...

US MELODIC ROCK ACT LINE OF FIRE WELCOMES NEW MEMBERS:

Line Of Fire would like to officially announce the arrival of lead guitarist Stephen Harris and bass player Dario Da Rosa! Joining founding members Shawn Pelata (vocals) and Nikki Dimage (guitar/keys), Stephen and Dario both bring a wealth of talent and depth of musical knowledge to the band.

In addition to their 2013 appearances at MelodicRock Fest 3 and Rock Harvest 2, the band is planning many more live appearances throughout 2014 as well as beginning work on their third album and follow up to 2010's 'Momentum' release on Tribunal Records. The band released their self-titled debut via Tribunal in 2005.

The guys stopped rehearsing long enough for a quick band pic. When asked about the drummer situation, the band replied with a grin, "We're working on it..."
