Long time lurker and seldom poster. Hope to post more in the future. Mainly listen to 80's hard rock & metal. Use the HH website & forum as my #1 reference for discovering new music(past & present).

Stryper, Dokken, WASP, Crue, Whitesnake are a few of my favorites from the 80's. Also enjoy the new generation of bands keeping the spirit of hard rock alive. With Hardcore Superstar, Dynazty, and Pump being some of my favorites.

First concert was WASP w/ Armored Saint & Metallica sometime back in the mid-eighties. Last concert was Frank Hannon(Tesla) about a week ago.

Thanks for the heads up! Your description is spot on. Just good solid hard rock. I know they are from Sweden, but I believe they have toured the States.

I've seen the first two episodes. Nothing groundbreaking. but a very enjoyable show.

Sounds promising. Anybody know anything about a future album release.

I also attended the show in Savage, MN. I will second Babylonbc review of the show. Well worth the price of admission. Everything ran on-time, which is a big plus for me.

Felt like Pretty Boy Floyd should have been the headliners(they went on second). Steve Summers is a great front man. Was very impressed with them.

Great White seemed to have mic problems during their set. I don't think they ever got it dialed in right.

No creepy outfits for Faster Pussycat.

Great review Mark. Looking forward to picking up a copy soon. I always kind of compared these guys with German hard rockers PUMP(one of my personal faves), but with more attitude. Would love to see them live.

Retrospect released some of their stuff on CD. I have the s/t eight song release (2006/1990). Thanks for bio on them. Its nice to know a little info on some of the unsigned bands.

Dokken will get my vote. Jeff Pilson is one of the most underrated musicians in hard rock.

I believe the release NEH is selling is an import from Krescendo Records.

I cannot remember the author is, but there is another great book out call "American Hair Metal". It feature Nitro, with Jim Gilette, on front cover.

Steven Blush is the author. I also recommend the book. 176 pages. All color photos.

Is it printed on home printer like Roulette`s band inserts?

I mean like early Retrospect releases...

 

By the way, guys from Roulette told me there is in California is some manufactory which makin green cdrs with home made inserts and bands THINKIN THEY ORDERIN ORIGINAL STUFF rom this manufactory! lol

Seems to be professionally done. Nice glossy color. Two pages of color pictures (group & individual). One page of liner notes. (Thank you's & recording info).

Quality CD. Be patient its well worth the wait. I recommend using Paypal for payment.
