  1. Finally got around to watching "I Am Legend" and it is very good......haven't seen Will Smith in a bad movie to be honest....anyway I've got to track down the version with the alternative ending to see what I've missed..... :)

Backed. I just watched it and said the same thing to my wife about Will Smith. I liked it a lot.

  2. Hurricane-Slave To The Thrill

I got it from aMealhead1966. I couldn't remember what it sounded like. He got a killer deal from a local used tape/cd/vhs/dvd/book/magazine/anything that might have been collected store. He dug through inches of dust to find those gems. Some might be familiar with the place...GB's. Kinda of a hole in the wall, but you can find some cool stuff there.

  3. A friend of mine is a drummer for a band that opened for Naked Beggars here in town. He said EB went out of his way to be nice. He said that he told the Beggars roadies to hurry up so the openers could get set up. And he sat right next to the stage rocking out in typical Brittingham fashion for my friends band. He said his wife has a bit of an ego.

  4. I never heard the entire cd but the three singles/videos were awesome.

I have the videos on some vhs with the title-track, Someday and Medicine Man.

I'm not sure why I never picked up the cd(of course it would of been cassette for me back then).

I did recently pick up Aldo Nova's portrait of cd, which I think just had songs from the first two albums.

Besides "Fantasy" I couldn't really get into any other songs.

Wes, this is as essential as it gets! One of my fave top 50 of all time! Getcha a copy and make sure it has the Japan bonus track too. I can't say enough about this album...

You can say that again. I really like this one. I love Fantasy. But as a whole album this is his best. I still listen to it and it holds up pretty well.

  5. I've seen both versions, and I can truly say that Phil's band SMOKES Tracii's version. Stacy Blades plays circles around Tracii and actually plays Tracii's material better than Tracii these days. On top of that, Stacy is a pretty damn nice guy and took the time, along with the rest of the band, to sit and chat with everyone after the show. Phil was a very humble and nice guy as well as Adam Hamilton, and oddly enough, Steve Riley almost seemed shy in a way. He was great. All the guys took the time to sign CD's, shirts, take pics, etc... I never saw hide nore hair of Tracii's version after their show...

If Tracii would have been smart, he would have left on good terms, gave them all a good blessing o carry on without him, BUT, also make sure the door was left unlocked for him to make a return if needed. From the stories I've read on the internet and from other bands, Tracii has a bad habit of burning MANY bridges right behind him as he goes through life. :screwy:

I had the exact same experience as T-Bone. The version with Phil/Steve/Stacy and the new bass player just flat out rocks. They were all very nice and took time to meet us all. Phil IS the voice of LA Guns. I love Tracii and his playing. But it really looks like he burns every bridge when he is in a band. Maybe that's why DJ Ashba plays on the new Sixx AM and not Tracii.
