  1. Sounds good, but I will be hearing the soothing sounds of Priest, Sabbath, Motorhead, and Testament down in Camden at the Susquehanna Bank Center. In fact I was just talking marinades with my compadre.

    Kabobs and beers anyone? :woot:

On topic... I did see these guys in Texas, and they fucking sounded great. Levin's unbelievable live. :beerbang:

I'm going to the Priest, H&H show on the 19th in Chicago. Let me know how it was.

  2. After seeing LA Guns this weekend with Marty Casey I'll have to admit that they were pretty damn good.

Marty sang the old songs great and was probably the best frontman at the Dakota Rockfest.

My only big complaint is that they did to many damn covers and Marty's song 'Trees'.

I still think that Tracii should change the name since Phil's version of the band is more like the Classic LA Guns but I do think with Marty in the band they could do something cool and new with a different name.

I'm a Phil Lewis LA Guns fan. To me he has the sleazy voice I like/associate with LA Guns but I admit Casey did a pretty good job from the youtubes and clips I've seen. Although I've always though he could sing I was expecting to cringe with him doing Sex Action etc, but I was surprisingly impressed.

Same here. I just think they (Tracii's version) should call it something else. Cocked and Loaded, Vicious Circle, Hollywood Vampires, anything but 2 LA Guns.

  3. Motorhead - Kiss Of Death

    My Fave Motorhead release!!! :beerbang::bowdown:

It is rather good isn't it. This is the only Motorhead album I have never heard before (got it this morning). I forgot how good this bands back catologue is. I have always had the staple Motorhead cd's in my collection (Overkill, Bomber etc) but thought it about time I got a few others. Most are avaliable real cheap, so Motorhead packages have been flying through the letterbox all week - 4 more to go then i'm there :)

I just listened to KOD and love it. Same for Sacrifice. I think that is my fav. Until I listen to Inferno or Overnight Sensation. Then they will be my favs.

  4. I love mine. I have 6 so far and no regrets. I do want to add to some. As far as hurting. It didn't really hurt on the outside of my arm. More like annoying. But the inside was a different story. Wow!!! It was worth it though.

...and yours look great!! I'm gettin another one next saturday...

    You're an addict!

  6. Just got the 'snake disc from Amazon.com, apparently I misread the description for the $9.99 deal, it's the one disc version. :(

Still... it fucking ROCKS so far!

    The production is sweet! :beerbang:

I got it today @ Target for $13.99. Plus it has the bonus disk. Amazon has the bonus listed with the 9.99 offer in the track listing. But it said 1 in number of disks. This is already a classic for me. :headbanger:

  7. GB's Music Decatur Ill.

This place was a goldmine for years as the Bros(Gary and Bob) that ran it/owe it didn't

keep up with technology and had a TON of great things that were cheap..average

CD price was 6.99-8.99 for use and some new stuff. London and myself went there every week and found tons of goodies..well one of the Bros (Gary) his Wife got them a computer

and now they have joined the ranks of eBay/amazon sellers and the prices have

doubled for used stuff..and they had SO much stuff they didn't even know what they had..

Luckily I had pretty much picked over everything they had...still it sucks, I lost a

    great place to find stuff...

I remember finding a box under the cd bin with about a foot of dust on it. It was a box full of the old long box cd 's. 21 guns-Salute, Spread Eagle-Open To The Public, Shooting Gallery, Tora Tora-Wild America and Little Caesar-Influenced. That was a good day.
