I had to go with In Rock We Trust with Black Tiger and Earthshaker coming in a close second and third. I like their older stuff better than their newer stuff but is all good.

In the used bin:
Iron Maiden - Powerslave (Sanctuary reissue)
and won on ebay today:
Tigertailz - Bezerk
This one is hard to figure out. Some auctions go for $30+ while the one I bid on went for $10. Must be missing something here.
Bezerk and Banzai are being reissued with new artwork and a bonus track on each. I believe on Sanctuary Records. That's probably why.

If ya like BADLANDS then check out the s/t SUN RED SUN album, it's the last record Ray Gillen sang on before he died.
Damn, you can usually snag this CD for well under $5 at any used store. I saw 1 go for $68!!?? I bet they are all buying it for that 1 song Bo sang too. Badlands first CD is much better.

Damn, I never meant this to be any type of attack and I never thought this guy was up to anything, just made a comment that I wish I had something this guy would bid on.
He looks like a great buyer to me, you gotta love a guy who has this kind of money to spend, especially if it is on your auctions.
So yeah, he isn't up to anything like Delbert said, just rich or nuts but there is no law against either.

Vamp Le Stat - Bloodline (finally!)
Ice Water Mansion - Time Out Of Mind
Inside Out - S/T
Dirty Cowboys - Rode Hard And Put Up Wet
Not a cheap week I tell ya.

I posted this in the Ebay Auction forum. Was this CD worth the final price? Not in my world.....
The link doesn't work but I'm sure a lot of people on this site were watching this one. Is the CD worth it? Depends who you ask. To me no, I couldn't bring myself to pay that much for 1 CD. Is it a good CD, hell yes, excellent indie and also one of the rarest out there (thus the insanely high price).
-
Its OK but he paid like 5-10X what it usually sells for.

I believe this person won the White Eagle and Friction CDs for ungodly prices.

He is going by arw17356 now and has some rare stuff up so beware. I see a few people even retracted bids on his items because he won't reply to any of their messages. I did email him about his Dirty Cowboys CD and he did reply with this:
"no boots at all..all are original issues in mint condition...as evidenced by the factory pressing catalog numbers included on each listing...thanks"
Just giving the catalog number isn't evidence of anything, you can look those up here (which I even replyed back to him before I knew who this guy was).

Holy crap, thanks for letting me know. I missed that thread. I'll definitely stay clear.

This person is selling a lot of rare stuff but only accepts checks or money orders. He also has 0 feedback. I saw some stuff I'd like to bid on but this seems a little too risky for me unless I hear otherwise by some sort of miracle.
-
Its the music for me as well. As far as the rarer indies go, I only go after the one's I really like (Rott Sox is a good example as Ripper says). I'll also go after CDs for 5 bucks. Makes no difference to me as long as I like the music. What I hate is all the sellers on Ebay comparing a band to another band and when you buy it it sounds nothing like their comparison, that's why I won't buy a CD unless I've heard it or its cheap and I have nothing to loose.
I do have CD-Rs of the more expensive indies such as Theatre, Sgt Roxx, Taken etc and as money and time permits I'll try to track down the originals but to get them all would take forever or a hell of a lot of money. I don't mind paying a lot for a CD I really love to listen to.

I got my copy of Shelter - S/T from ParadiseNowProductions as well. I had no problems getting the CD. I've found that it does take longer from Canada than overseas most of the times for me as well both sending and receiving. The only time I ever had problems on Ebay was when I was shipping to Canada, something got lost once so I had to send payment again for the item.

Man, forgot 1 of my all time favorite songs, it may have never been officially released but I have a demo from a band called Wikked Gypsy, I believe they were from L.A. but I may be wrong. The song is Shoot Me Down Again. If you can find the demo it's definitely worth a listen.
