  5. Hello all: Very sorry for the lack of communication to most of you from my end - I have been keeping a very busy work schedule (more than ever believe it or not, and in spite of what some may think) and it's pretty demanding on my time management - see below. As a result, I don't get to respond to all of the mail I get here, but to all of my friends - please know that everyone's friendship means worlds to me. To my fans, your support is appreciated more than I can ever express! Ted and I are keeping a fair pace these days: please see my upcoming show schedule for details on our appearances at Z Rock's shows in England and Canada this coming May and August, respectively. We will also be once again appearing at Concert Under The Stars with Eric Martin (Mr. Big) in King of Prussia, PA in August as well - details on that show will follow shortly. Ted's also working on some other appearances for us...stay tuned... In the studio: I've been working towards wrapping the writing/playing/producing of seven songs for Justin Murr's latest edition of his acclaimed Liberty & Justice Project, which has me collaborating with the talents of Harry Hess and Pete Lesperance (formerly of Harem Scarem), Robert Mason and Jerry Dixon (Warrant), CJ Snare and Bill Leverty (Firehouse), Les Carlson (Bloodgood), Oz Fox (Stryper, Bloodgood), Marq Torien (Bulletboys), Kerri Kelli (Alice Cooper) and, of course my brother-in-arms Ted Poley! (Hopefully, there will be one more VERY big name singer included in this mix, pending his review and acceptance of one of the tunes I have written for this...) It's been pretty exciting to be a part of this thing and it will be a special CD when it is finished; unending thanks to Justin Murr for bringing me on board. Props to my greatly talented friends Mike Ledesma, John Pine and Kelli McCloud (whose backing vocals will be featured on the release) for helping out with all of the guide vocal tracks! I have also just completed work with Ted on writing and recording vocals for an upcoming video game...Ted's prior work with Sega (Sonic The Hedghog's SONIC HEROES, etc) was the catalyst here and I thank brother Ted for making me a part of this world because it should lead to a nice expansion to my line of work! Next up, commercials, movie scoring....well, it's a long way before I'm there but HOPEFULLY that may figure into my future! PLENTY of other stuff happening concurrently in addition to the above: - I'm working on new Poley/Rivera material; I am endeavoring to FINALLY get around to RPG this year (no, I will not rest untill we get that project off the ground, my brothers Pelata and Gravley); - I've begun discussions with talented Ruben Gomez (Kings Harem, Menudo) towards a collaboration; he and Ted also happen to be very good friends and Ted will accordingly be in the mix as well. This promises to be interesting, fun and exciting! - On top of all of this, I'm about to seriously upgrade my recording studio, so that's going to take a bit of time to assemble and sort out, but it will be well worth the effort to keep up with the latest technology as it will make the recording and producing process MUCH more efficient - in turn, helping ME to be much more efficient with my time! - Lastly, I'm hopeful that at some point this year I can get started on recording new CRUNCH material but THAT will probably have to wait 'till 2010 - all of the guys and I have various things going on in our professional and personal lives but when we're ready, we will reconvene with guns BLAZING! Well, there you have it. Quite long-winded but you all know me, when I've been gone a while I tend to try and give an accounting for it. Thanks to everyone for all of your friendship and support. Stay well and see ya soon! Vic Rivera www.myspace.com/vicrivera
