Great record.
'High Life' the bonus track from the JAP issue = d@mn good tune
Yep, that’s the version I have to. High Life is a great track.

Oh man, I’m glad someone brought this album up. This is one that flew in under the radar at the time. It has the big gang back up vocals all over it. My favorite tracks are Midnight Angel and Three Chords of Steel. I have the Japanese version which has a bonus track on in it as well.

This is another one of my favorites. I thought these guys should have been huge. They had the music but I think they just got a deal to late. I heard rumors of them making more music but I don’t know if it’s true or not.

The first single from their upcoming collection Demos From the Attic.

This is my favorite album by them. So many great songs on this one. I am not a fan of their newer stuff. I don’t like their sound and haven’t picked up any of their releases.

He did a good job on it. It’s not something I would have expected from him though.
I wish they would focus on doing another Ratt release.

It seems not to many people are really into this band but I like them. Their first album has always been my favorite one. Just a lot of great songs on there. When Will It Rain, I Stand Alone and The Lumberjack are my favorites.

Each album has a special place in my heart. I was a teenager for the first one and a late teenager for the second one. For Pull, I was in the military stationed overseas. As a young GI overseas music helped pass the time and try to keep me out of trouble. This album came during that time and I played the hell out of it.
The Japanese version has a bonus track called “Hell To Pay” that’s not bad. My favorite tracks are Blind Revolution Mad, Spell I’m Under, Junkyard Dog and No Man’s Land.

Next to Trash, this is my second favorite by him.

That’s 0 - 2 so far with me. I don’t think I will be picking this one up. To poppy sounding instead of sticking with soundtrack material from the genre IMO.

Wow! I hadn’t heard they were closing up. That sucks! There are not many options for those of us in the states. Mike would get a pretty good selection of stuff from all over the world. Ordering from overseas is just shitty right now with the high ass shipping rates. Even trying to get cd’s from neighboring Canada can be costly.
Does anyone else know of any other online shops in US that are as good as NEH as far as selection, cost, shipping, reliability, etc.

Sadly, it's a very common thing. I know it must be hard to recapture the early magic, but I think a lot of these comebacks are just cash grabs unfortunately.
Off the top of my head,
Steelheart, Riverdogs, Giant, Lynch Mob , Tyketto, Hericane Alice, to name a few.
Although, the recent "Hittman" album shows that they can sometimes be a triumph.
For me Steelheart had a few good songs on it but the rest I agree with you on.
I would add Spread Eagle to this list as well. When I heard the samples of their comeback, I steered clear of it. Sounded nothing like their first two albums. I also wasn’t a fan of the Tora Tora comeback.

disagree mate, I think At The Movies is better, esp the solo
First off, I’m not a big fan of the song. That being said, I’m with Aor on this one. Lionville actually made it listenable.
I hope they do a better selection of songs. There are lot of great ones out there that they could cover from the genre. I don’t want to see them go to poppy.

If that's the case, I won't even listen to it.
All of Del V's bands/projects are all the same. Very average stuff.
Yeah, his stuff does tend to start sounding the same. He needs to step back and let the artist do their thing. That’s what we, as fans want.
-
Pretty cool. Do you know if they have any cd’s that are available?
-
Yeah I saw when Frontiers announced it on Facebook everyone was asking if Huff was going to be involved in the project and they didn’t respond/reply to any of the comments. My guess is that would be a no. Damn shame. It would have been nice to see a new release with Huff involved. Who knows it may happen.

I already preordered the three cd’s (these two plus the Rawkon). I had the Retrospect Records release but now know that was not authorized by the band. Looking forward to these.

Nice. I think she did it some justice.
-
Looks like it’s a done deal and no longer available. I didn’t buy into because I thought the cd package was a little pricey. We’ll see if they have any left over for sale.

Both are pretty good. I’ve always been partial to Shark Islands version. I also like the version Kick Axe did.

Hey bro, I’m Scott Brozek. I haven’t been on as much as I used to but I still pop in now and then. -
Did this get a cd release yet? Last I say, it was digital only. I’m hoping they will release on cd soon as I don’t really do the digital thing.

I haven’t been on in a while and just saw this. Sorry to hear about. My condolences to his family. RIP Tim
