  1. That reminds me. Wasn't there a seller based in Arizona? I remember they usually had the latest releases. I bought some Suncity titles from them.

I think you are referring to Wishing Well Entertainment. I believe they shut their site down. They were still selling on Amazon after that but I don't know anymore. They were pretty good to. They would have code word sales and you would get 10% off your order. They would also get a selection of used stuff as well.

Perris Records is one that is still around, though they don't have the selection that they used to have 15 years ago.

I miss R.A.M. Music. Used to order from them quite a bit.

Another one I miss was Wildside Imports (out of Michigan). They had a lot good stuff back in the day.

There just aren't enough companies here in the US anymore. Seems most of them are in Europe and shipping just gets to costly.

  2. Yeah after the Bach era, these guys just haven't been able to capture my attention like they used to. Wish they would just write the music like they used to. I'm sure Solinger can do a good job with it. Don't know if I'm going to be checking this one out.....we'll see.

  3. Midnite Dynamite was my first taste of these guys and I was hooked. Blow My Fuse is probably my favorite release by them. Would love to see them live. Have a few friends in the Maryland area that have seen them and say they still sound great.

  4. Yeah, there are some re-stocks I would love to see. Like these ones.

    Brickyard - S/T

    Haven - S/T

    Mata Hari - S/T

    NE4 - Never Lift

    Radical Dream - S/T

    Rage N Rox - S/T

Topaz - A World Of Secrets

Here are some more I would like to see re-stocked.

Cracked Actor - Make You Sweat

    Soren - Soren

    The Storm - Sweet Surrender

You have quite a library to choose from Sam and I think the stuff you have would sell.

  5.

    Stefan,

Thanks for the links. Wow, I've been away for so long. I missed all the info about this label. Most of their early stuff was silver pressed and I've had no issues with. Lately their stuff has been CD-R's and I'm not paying $15 for one. The need to list which ones are which on their website.

Demon Doll Records now list which of their release are silver and which are CD-R.

I'd still like to pick some of them up if I find out they are silver pressed.

    Thanks again for the input.

Mullethead, sorry to read about the BS you've had to go through with these guys.

  6. Hey all, I've been away for a while (a lot of stuff going on in life) and am going to try and get back on here more.

I've been watching FNA records lately and they are releasing a lot of stuff that looks good. I wanted to know if anyone has picked anything up by them recently. I got some stuff from them last summer through ebay and the packaging and inserts were really good but some the disc's ended up being blueish/greenish tinted disc. Others were silver pressed. I stopped buying their releases after that. Their averaging about $15 a disc on their website and I don't want to buy any more until I know whether they are silver cd's or not. I've asked on their facebook site when they announced a release but didn't get an answer.

    Appreciate any info on this.

  7. Man, I've checked a bunch of the sites (Retrospect Records, NEH Records, Eonian Records, Perris Records, FNA Records to name a few) and none of them have news about having any Black Friday sales/discounts. I was really looking forward to any of them having something going on!!

The only ones I saw having any kind of sale was Tribunal Records and Stormspell Records. Props to them.

This is the perfect time to jump on the bandwagon with every other chain and have some outrageous sales. I had a little extra money for myself and wanted to snag some good stuff.

  8. Like Dan said, it's weird how you remember where you were at during certain events in your life. I was in 10th grade and we had a severe snow storm and got to stay home. I was flipping through the channels on the tv and came across it on the news. Couldn't believe it.

  9. Wow great song. Why that is the jap tune I'll never know. Should of been on the regular version of the disc.

The bastards allways get great bonus tracks :P;( . This isn't the first time,,,,

I know and it sucks. Maybe I should move to japan.

Hell, I live in Japan but can't afford to keep up with all of the stuff coming out with bonus tracks. With the shitty ass Yen rate (dollar to Yen), I can't buy that many anymore. A new cd here (that goes for 3,500 Yen) will cost me about $42 after the conversion rate. I often wait a year or two and catch it as a used cd for maybe half the price (if I'm lucky). Even the used cd's aren't as cheap as they used to be.

I was checking this one out the other day but they still wanted over 25 bucks for a used version. I'll snag it one of these days.

It used to be great years ago. They would actually put two or three songs left off of the US version. Now you may get one (two if your lucky) bonus track. I've stayed away from some of them though because the bonus track may only be a demo version of an album song or even an acoustic version of an album song.
