That's a completely different band. The Shotgun Wedding cd I was listening to was formed from the ashes of the band Fashion Police and they hail from Cleveland, Ohio.
Hope that helps!

Hey Tim! Yeah...the Rott Soxx, Brat Prince and Child's Play are all pretty damn good. The Brat Prince was produced by Ratt's Juan Croucier. The Child's Play was their second release...and it's very good! Rott Soxx is killer hard rock/glam.....
The Afi and Evanescence are two new bands...kind of goth in nature...good stuff...

Actually, the Sgt. Roxx is a superior Indie that would have dealt the world a serious blow if given the chance.....an excellent album!! The Wildhearts are one of the best bands on the planet!!!! They have many, many cds...and Ginger is a songwriter like noneother. They remind me of a melodic...aggressive hard rock band with a slight punk attitude. Killer guitar...killer chorus'....very, very good stuff.
I wouldn't mind finding that self-titled Concrete Jungle myself! The cd I'm listenin' to is "Wear and Tear"!!
-
I have a six cd changer in my car...so here's what is currently being played...
Raw Trixx

90278
Email me and we'll discuss.

Koog........never had a problem either. Although, I haven't purchased anything from them for over 8 months or so.....
Have you communicated with them regarding your transaction? What was their take on the situation?
It's strange......I haven't had a problem with any purchases until recently. I sent some guy Benn Stimmel money for a Skin N Bones cd and he says he sent it.......never got it.....and he hardly replies to emails and says he has multiple copies of it and will send another. Interesting....for someone to have multiple copies of a fairly rare disc like that *Jap version*. So....I now have to have someone hunt his ass down in Cali to see what the problem is........also, supposedly a seller from eBay CDWolves 'forgot' to send out my latest eBay purchases......and said they were sent about a week or so ago....still no package..but I'm hopeful..and on the lookout. Kori, if you're reading this.......let me know what the deal is.....
So Koogs.......I wish you the best in the recovery of your cd. At least you know you're dealing with a couple of guys that have at least been in business for awhile.....so maybe it's just a mixup......
Good luck!
-
Steve,
I have Mark Thompson Smith's solo cd...and it's pretty damn good! If you want *and can wait till I move and unpack my boxes* I'll make you a cdr of it.....let me know!

You are quite welcome Danny!!!
Oh...I have the Pretty Vacant album....my buddy Dave Belanger *also of Fashion Police* was in that band......it's a damn good album!!!
-
David......
No......the band who released "Psycho's R Us" is a completely different band than the one who put out "Combat Alley".
-
Ok.......here are some cool sleazy hard rock/metal cd's..........
Hard Knox "Psycho's R Us"......awesome, awesome sleazy hard rock/metal in the vein of early GnR.....aggressive.....melodic....rippin' guitars and excellent vox!!
Spread Eagle "s/t"........Listen to "Scratch Like a Cat" and tell me this isn't one kickass sleazy hard rock band.......
Glorious Bankrobbers "Dynamite Sex Doze".......another band from Europe that was sadly overlooked here in the States.....excellent!!
Finster Baby "Take a Lick an' See".......nice L.A. Guns/GnR hybrid.....very cool Indie
Loud N Nasty.......another Euro sleaze band!!!
-
David,
Out of the two you listed I would have to go with Alleycat Scratch! Noize Toyz were more of a hard rock band than a "sleaze" band so ACSCratch wins that one hands down!!

Thanks for implementing the message boards. I'm sure it will be beneficial to all of those that come to this website to "talk" and trade about the music we love.....
Rock on........

Beware, Ebay
in Good and Bad Traders, Buyers, and Sellers
Posted
Sounds a bit odd for sure. The rocku4ever sounds like our own little kitty KAT "Purrfect". I could be wrong....but there are some strange going ons in that part of Canada.
I, too, won a small auction...and I'll wait for some feedback before I send anything. I did send an email to the addy questioning the Vain, etc. and got a reply that four or five of the discs were in fact cdrs but that the remainder were 'silver pressed'.
And RIPPER....isn't it ironic that you have any nerve to talk about 'strange' people on eBay when YOU, yourself have MULTIPLE eBay ID's.........
The only people with multiple clandestine ID's on Ebay are those that have something to hide usually.........kinda like the pot calling the kettle black, eh?
