Once again I will be doing The annual "M-Pre Party" event.. 2019 marks the 10th year for this show. In the past I have had a few HH members attend the show, always a pleasure when they do.
If you are headed to Columbia, Maryland for the M3 Festival in early May... This is the way to kick off the weekend. This year's lineup once again features some of the best original bands out there..
STATION - WILDSTREET - THE MIDNIGHT DEVILS - WHITE TRASH STARS - MOTORAGE - MAYBE NEVER - MIDNIGHT ANGEL
May 2, 2019 - Sonoma's Bar & Grill in Columbia, Maryland

The Poison Dollys had some serious backing behind them for a bit.. they seemed to implode just as they were getting off of the ground. I only got to see them play once.. pretty good band.
-
Prior to The Vamps moving to NYC and becoming Skin & Bones.. They did some shows in Maryland and Virginia under the name Vamp City.
-
Headed to the Burning Rain record release show Friday night in Vegas. It appears that this is the only show in The USA.
-
Very limited release.... only 100 CDs and 100 LPs.
That is all.... They are all sold out.

I've seen this band a few times... They did a show with Station in Philly. I was really bored by their set. Just a bit plain and lackluster to me.

Tempt has a lot going on right now.... they are gaining momentum and are poised to end the year strong. The just opened for Bon Jovi at Madison Square Garden and have a bunch of good stuff on the way.

It is very possible that you will see "Never Enough" and 'All You Need Is A Heartbeat' released on CD at some point. They write so many good songs that it is hard to cut the list down when releasing albums. The song "More Than The Moon" is an older song that I loved from the very beginning. I urged them to include it on the first full length release...

Sticking the knife and and turning it!
Can't wait for this one.
I'm guessing we'll be seeing a new single pretty soon along with preorders opening if they're sticking to their early April release.
Hoping More Than The Moon and Easier Said Than Done made the cut....both of those songs sounded pretty good live.
The release will be title "More Than The Moon".. Don't worry, you will get "Easier Said Than Done" also.... Look for an April 13th release date. Twelve great tacks in all.

Everything is recorded and mixed... cover art is finished... Everything looks and sounds great.

Looking forward to it! Any idea when the first single might hit?
I was surprised to hear Chris say in a recent interview that All You Need Is A Heartbeat and Never Enough wouldn't be on the new album and those songs would just be stand alone singles. Both are good songs that I was hoping would be on the album. Must mean they've got plenty other good songs to leave those off though
Either way, looking forward to the album and one of my most anticipated albums this year along.
"Never Enough" and " All You Need Is A Heartbeat" were released to keep everyone happy while they worked on the new release. I've heard most of the songs that will be on the new release... all top-notch. The video for the new single has been shot and should be released fairly soon. The first single is for a song that I was surprised didn't make the first full length CD. Possibly my favorite Station song ever.

I had them at The M-Pre Party" a few years back... entertaining live band. I don't expect much from them as their management already believes they are "Rock Stars" and is running a strictly over hyped campaign to sell them.
-
Not sure this will happen in 2018... I just had them play a show in Maryland at the end of 2017 and the new lineup is improving with each show I see. I have them scheduled to come back to Maryland for my annual "M-Pre Party" show on May 3rd.
-
Look for a new release from Station on April 6, 2018.... that is the date that they are shooting for. Some great songs are about to be unleashed.. especially the title track and first single.
Should be one of the top releases in 2018.

For the 9th year in a row I will be holding The "M-Pre Party" in Columbia, Maryland. The date of the show is May 3, 2018.. the Thursday night prior to The M3 Festival. I have some good bands lined up... Hope to see a couple of you out there again in 2018.
Wildstreet, Mad Margritt, White Trash Stars, Shokker, and Babylon Shakes will all be playing... I may just add one more band to the lineup prior to the show.
-
Hammerjacks... my old stomping ground.
-
You can look for a new video for this song fairly soon... I have heard most of the new songs and they pick right up where the debut full length left off. I've got them headed down to Maryland for a show this Saturday night. Big things in the works for the remainder of 2017.
Dave,
Get them out West you bastage.
Hope to have some specifics in about a week....

Not one of the better band in the Baltimore area... but certainly not the worst.
The Baltimore area really did have some great local bands from the early 80's until the early 90's. Was really lucky to grow up in the area and get to see most of these bands. It was a great time when you could go see live music every night of the week.

I've got to say... When I saw them they were quite entertaining. Fun show.
Best of 2019 thus far?

I think the new release by STATION might just sneak on to a few lists. It will be a late entry as it will not be released until November.
