So we decided to film a very disturbing, yet hilarious video for our Kylie Minogue cover haha

Australian metallers LORD have released a video of their tongue-in-cheek cover of KYLIE MINOGUE's "On A Night Like This". This video was shot in Brisbane with acclaimed director Rhys Day and edited at SLS Studios. Commented LORD frontman, LT: "We had a great time making this video and working with Rhys and his crew. Will, who played Kylie, was absolutely amazing - he played the character so straight-faced, we spent a good amount of the shoot rolling around on the floor laughing. This was just one of several clips we'll be unveiling in the near future, so keep an eye on the LORD website for news."

 

LORD recently announced Japanese tour dates in October with DORO and JADED HEART, following shows in Sydney with ex-IRON MAIDEN singer PAUL DI'ANNO.

 

LORD was formed from the ashes of DUNGEON who disbanded in 2005 after world tours with the likes of MEGADETH, NIGHTWISH, EDGUY and more, and has since gone on to tour with bands such as QUEENSRYCHE, SAXON, GAMMA RAY and released three well-received albums. The song "On A Night Like This" appears on the 2009 release "Set In Stone" and has received extensive mainstream Australian airplay.

LORD returns to JAPAN - OCTOBER 2010

 

After our successful tour of Japan last year, we'll be heading back once again this October for three very special shows.

 

This time around, we'll be teaming up with both DORO and JADED HEART from Germany for what plans to be three mind blowing shows.

 

Dates are

 

DORO/JADED HEART/LORD

 

October 8th - Holiday, Shinjuku (Tokyo)

October 10th - Holiday, Nagoya

October 11th - Holiday, Oskaka

 

 

... and yes - the venues are indeed named 'HOLIDAY'!!

 

We're proud as hell to not only have the opportunity to return to Japan, but also to play with two fantastic bands!

Saw a preview screening of The Invention of Lying starring Ricky Gervais. Really enjoyed it!

Been to the stores when I was last in Japan, and was blown away with what they had!

Heading back over there in November, so its time to get cashed up!

We're all big Dokken fans, so there's definitely an influence in there.

Not sure if this is a serious question or not, but we've known Lesperance for a few years now (met him in 2005 in Toronto) and he was happy to throw a solo on the album when we asked

Harem Scarem is one of my all time favourite bands, so to have Pete play on the album is mind blowing
