  1. QUEENSRYCHE - c'mon guys did we really need "Operation Mindcrime 2"? How the hell could you ever hope to follow up a masterpiece like that? And your last 2 or 3 studio albums haven't been anything to write home about either...

SKID ROW - Without Bach why bother???

DEF LEPPARD - After the first 3 they don't exist in my collection...by the way a song with Tim McGraw? What were you thinking??

METALLICA - Almost the same statement as I made about LEPPARD...love the fist 4 1/2 & a few songs after that (MEMORY REMAINS, KING NOTHING). The difference is I actually really liked DEATH MAGNETIC, so guys don't press your luck with trying to top that one...

    also:

    TRIXTER

    ENUFF Z'NUFF

    SLAUGHTER

    PUDDLE OF MUD

    STYX

    PEARL JAM

    POISON

and no boy bands or former members should be allowed in or near a recording studio!!!!!!!!!!

By the way I would LIKE to see a new Y&T disc in the near future....

  2. Just got back from a couple of used cd stores & this what I bought:

    ARCADE - S/T & A/2

    LYNCH MOB - WICKED SENSATION

    KNIGHT STRIKE - INTRUDER

DELIVERANCE - THE ULTIMATE REVENGE (SEALED)

    EXCITER - NEW TESTAMENT (SEALED)

FAST EDDIE CLARKE - IT AIN'T OVER TILL IT'S OVER (SEALED)

SLEEZE BEEZ - LIVE IN TOKYO (SEALED)

    spent about $50...not to shabby

  3. Just wanted everyone to know that I work for the Post Office as a letter carrier (no dog bite jokes, please) & you'd be surprised at some of the packages I've seen people send out. Things not packed well & moving around...When I was buying & selling cd's on Ebay, I never had anything broken or lost in the mail (ok a couple of lost claims but they were from suspicious buyers). When buying or selling always use delivery confirmation or insure it if it's valuable..that way you are protected. Also if you have things shipped 'media mail' or 'parcel post' it does take longer because it's cheaper...And if at all possible I wouldn't recommend shipping cd's by themselves w/o the case....

  4. I'm a 30 year die hard Steeler fan but welcome to the site anyway. :P

Me too!!! No wait, I'm 40...

Welcome Steve. The inner circle here is pretty tight and we see people come and go, but once your in its a great place to be.

Btw: I saw Saint open for Metallica too on the Ride The Lightning tour, no WASP on the bill though. Can U Deliver, still one of the best songs and greatest opening riffs of all time.

Saw the mighty Saint at Rocklahoma last year & they still kick ass!!! Bush's vocals were amazing...

  5. EVERY MOTHER'S NIGHTMARE - S/T

PINK - I'M NOT DEAD (W/ BONUS TRACK)

    BATHORY - BLOOD FIRE DEATH

ELECTRIC WIZARD - COME MY FANATICS

JOE LYNN TURNER - RESCUE YOU

JON OLIVA'S PAIN - GLOBAL WARNING & 'TAGE MAHAL

STEVE STEVENS ATOMIC PLAYBOYS - S/T

    HARLOW - HARLOW

    MSG - SAVE YOURSELF

    Y&T - UNEARTHED VOL. 1 & 2

TEN YEARS AFTER - THE ESSENTIAL

  6. Hey thanks everyone for welcoming me with open arms (no Journey pun intended..well maybe a little). It makes me feel warm all over. Or maybe that's because I just pissed myself...no, false alarm. Anyway extra special kudos goes out to JustJason for having great taste in football teams...by the way I had a great find yesterday. I found the 1st Every Mothers Nightmare cd at a used store for .99 cents in excellent condition YEAH!!!!

  7. Hello fellow headbangers my name is Steve. I've checked out the HH site many times looking up bands & cd's & then decided to look at some of the posts on the message boards & came across the Lonnie/Carlos Hurricane cd scam & was so intrigued by it that I read the whole thing! Well needless to say after I was done reading it I was so pissed off I felt like I had been ripped off!! I was so impressed by how the members all banded together trying to get this little fucker that I decided to join the site/message boards. Anyway let me tell you a little about myself: I'm 39 years old (turn 40 in May) , divorced w/ 2 kids & live in Kansas. Got turned on to Kiss in the late 70's (thanks to an older female cousin) & the obsession with hard rock/metal began & is still going strong. My first record was Kiss - "Destroyer" & my first concert was Iron Maiden, Axe & Coney Hatch in 1983. Also got to see W.A.S.P., Metallica & Armored Saint in '84 & that show was fucking amazing!! I'm pretty much into all kinds of music:hard rock, heavy metal, old punk & hardcore, thrash, speed, death, some black metal & 50's, 60's & 70's classic rock. Also like some of the old outlaw country. Got to see both Johnny Cash & Waylon Jennings live before they died...simply amazing!! I also have tons of vinyl, cassettes, cd's & music videos & when I'm not obsessing over music I love to watch NFL football...I'm a die hard San Diego Chargers fan!!! Damn we almost made it........
