check out the VYPER - "PREPARED TO STRIKE" disc...I promise you won't be disappointed!!
-
No way I can do it as my musical taste is far too wide reaching, being that I listen to pretty much every type of music in some form or another.
Captain, you took the words right outta my mouth...there's no way in hell I could do this!! Maybe top 100...

GO FOR THE THROAT - Y &T
-
Nothing against Mr. Lewis or the News but I'd have to say no...They really don't fit (IMO) on this site even though they are right in telling us that the "Heart of Rock N Roll" is still beating...
-
Saw TS in '85 or '86 on the "Come out & Play" tour w/ Dokken opening & the venue was only half full...Saw TS again this past summer at the Midwest Rockfest in Wichita, Ks & they kicked ass despite the fn rain
Would have loved to have seen Krokus on the "Headhunter" tour...
-
I saw Bohnam & Tora Tora open for the Cult on the "Sonic Temple" tour back in '89 or '90...Then saw Tora Tora again at Rocklahoma '08...Damn, would have killed to see Badlands considering Jake E Lee is a GOD...

TRASH - "BAD REPUTATION" this song kicks major ass!!!

OZZY - BEST OF OZZ (JAP IMPORT)
BON JOVI - S/T (W/BONUS TRACKS)
DIRTY LOOKS - ONE BAD LEG

I just bought the Wounded Bird release of TRASH - "BURNIN' ROCK" which I had a bootleg copy forever & went to look up reviews for it on the site & couldn't believe it wasn't on there...

PHOTOGRAPH - DEF LEPPARD

AFTER THE RAIN - NELSON
-
Never really been caught that I can remember...I used to perform Ozzy's "Speak of the Devil" & Michael Bolton's "S/T" in their entirety in front of a full length mirror with a tennis racket though...I really thought maybe someday...

DIRTY LOOKS - "ONE BAD LEG"
for you Henrik R.I.P.
-
Cranked "One Bad Leg" in the car on the way to work this morning & realized what a kick ass cd this was...been way too long since I played it...Henrik I hope you're rockin' out where ever you are
-
Wow 47 is WAY to young...R.I.P. playing "Nobody Rides For Free" in tribute

Ratt - too consistent and too iconic for 80's hard rock to dislike... surely. To be honest, I don't really understand how an 80's hard rock fan could not not "get" them.
You hit the nail on the head with that statement! I think they had all the right ingredients for a great band...a great look, good musicians & very catchy songs. Hell some of their best songs weren't even released as singles ("What You Give Is What You Get" comes to mind)
Def Leppard - yeah, kinda agree with Wes. Even if you don't love everything, surely there's got to be something somewhere in that discography for everyone?
backed! The first 3 albums are damn near perfect IMO...Also like some of Hysteria but after that I could care less...

Enuff Z'Nuff never did a damn thing for me either. That damn "Fly High Michelle" song annoyed the piss outta me back in the day.
-
I've never "gotten" Enuff Z'Nuff...From the first time I heard them I thought they were horrible & still do to this day...I've even had the displeasure of seeing them live on a package tour w/Bulletboys (Bang Tango & Pretty Boy Floyd both cancelled..I was pissed). I even said to myself "maybe they'll be good live & I might enjoy them"...well they weren't but they did sell alot of shirts which I couldn't figure out By the way I don't get the whole Grateful Dead thing either...
-
My comments about Vinnie Vincent Invasion in various threads around here lately have probably made it abundantly clear that I don't "get" the love for them either. Simply awful stuff.
-
Yeah it's getting so bad that one day the version w/ the bonus tracks will be released a week after the original version I like it alot better if they release it w/ bonus tracks & maybe a live dvd or something to make it really worth having...
-
I'd never even heard of this band until I joined this site a few years ago. So I was really surprised when I found a used copy & popped it my home stereo & couldn't believe these guys weren't huge!! I voted for "Blue Tears", but "Take This Heart" could switch places at any givrn time...
