  1. BLACK LABEL SOCIETY will release its new studio album, "Order Of The Black", in North America on August 10 via E1 Music.

I haven't heard any tracks off this album yet, but I'm really looking forward to it! I didn't think the last BLS album was all that great, and I'm hoping for better results this time. Zakk rules!!

  2. I've always been a huge Buckcherry fan and I've seen'em twice in concert. Their new album, All Night Long, is coming out in August and the title track sounds pretty damn good! Kinda sounds like they're getting back to their "old school" sound? I'm really looking forward to this release. There last Cd was alright, but I feel it missed just a bit.

Check out the new video for

PS: Sorry if this topic has already been posted?

  3. Well I've always liked Dean over Tommy. I will say this though, Bite Down Hard was a great album. Springhead Motorshark was horrible... Maybe one good tune on that whole CD.

I've always been a Dean Davidson fan. Blackeyed Susan was a good album for it's time, and Britny Fox IS Dean Davidson. And Dean is a really cool guy. I got to meet him when I saw him with Blackeyed Susan. He was outside by the tour bus with his band and a bunch of groupies. I went back there and started asking him some question about his break up with Britny Fox and I told him how good the Blackeyed Susan album was. Next thing ya know, Dean starts chatting with me for about a half hour and didn't even bother with the groupies. I thought that was pretty cool! Dean loves his music and I hope the new Britny Fox album is gonna be great! I can't wait.

  4. OMG! Dude, long time, no see. How've you been man? Things sure have changed around the ol' HH place since you've last been here.

I've always dug the song "I Only Wanna Be With You". They did a good cover. Still Counting was nothing like I was expecting after how they rocked up IOWBWY. (And then it really kicked in and I was like "THAT'S more along the lines of what I was expecting.") Same thing with "Sad Man's Tongue". It really ends up losing any semblance to anything Southern as the song progresses. Both parts were good, though. They like screwing with people on the intros to their songs, don't they? haha

They seem like a really cool band. How'd you find them?

Glad to see you back Jason. Some of us older folks have missed some of the old blood that doesn't come around anymore.

    Totally agree!! Welcome back!!

Thank guys! It has been a long time...

I found out about Volbeat on Blabbermouth.net. They had a video for 'Sad Man's Tongue' posted on there, so I just clicked on the link and fell in love with the song. I downloaded more of their tunes and was blown away. Now I have all three of their albums and even took a trip to Atlanta, GA to see them live.

  5. Yes they are working on a new album and it's almost done. It should be out in Europe on September 10th. Unfortunately it won't be released in the U.S. until some time after. I'm not sure when though?

  6. "Ronnie James Dio (of showing his devil horns to the world each time he goes in public)"

That clearly goes to show they don't know what their talking about! It isn't the "Devil's Horns" that Ronnie what displaying. It came from his Grandmother. It's suppose to ward off evil and bring good luck! Anyone that is a Dio fan knows the background behind the fingers.

  7. Hello everyone!

I haven't been to this forum in years, but I am stopping by to introduce you to one of my favorite new bands, VolBeat. They are from Denmark... They have 3 albums out and are touring with Metallica at the moment. I flew down to Atlanta, GA last summer ('09) to see them play live. It was and awesome show. They opened for Nightwish, who I didn't really care for.

Here is a link so you can check out some of their tunes! I hope you lik'em? ENJOY!

    Rusty had another bad week.

Two weeks ago he was third in points, and now he's 13th. :(

  9. Just watched 'Van Helsing' last night and tonight I'm going to watch 'Exorcist: The Beginning'

Van Helsing was ok. <_< Cool F/X and great mosters, but the acting wasn't all that great.

Don't know what to expect from Exorcist: The Beginning?... Wait and see?....

  10. I see how this works..... Hendrick and Roush are going to flip-flop wins all season long. Last week it was Hendrick and now this week it's Roush.

Take a look at the year so far:

    1. Daytona 500 winner - Hendrick

    2. California winner - Roush

    3. Las Vagas winner - Hendrick

    4. Atlanta winner - Roush

    5. Bristol winner - RCR <---(exception to the rule)

    6. Martinsville winner - Hendrick

    7. Texas winner - Roush

Hey! But at least Rusty Wallace is now 3rd in points!!!! :pickle:

  11. Rusty Wallace - by the numbers.

Russell William Wallace Jr.'s NASCAR debut was just that -- a warning that the redhead from Arnold, Mo., was on the horizon, a gathering storm that took three years to pass before everyone realized he was the real deal.

Wallace qualified seventh for the Atlanta 500 on March 16, 1980. By the end of the day, future rival Dale Earnhardt was the only thing between Wallace and victory in his first Cup race. Driving for Roger Penske, Wallace finished second that day, sandwiched between Earnhardt and Wallace's hero, Bobby Allison, the only three cars on the lead lap.

Fifty-five victories later, Wallace's "Last Call" tour is under way. While he ranks eighth on the all-time wins list.
