Automaton was easily my favorite Crashdiet album. I liked some of the stuff with Simon, but didn't care much for anything before that.
At least this new singer doesn't have a gravel voice. That style of singing is way too common in this genre. I'll definitely give new material a listen

First single, "Legendary", releases in March...
I always tend to get at least a little excited when a new Bon Jovi album is announced, but the last nearly 30 years have not been kind. As has been noted already, they have the occasional killer tune, but for the most part, it's been one disappointment after another. "These Days" was their last release that I thoroughly enjoy.
Crush, and Have a Nice Day are my two favorite "new era" Bon Jovi albums. The last few have been major skips. Although This House is Not for Sale wasn't bad. Probably the best since Have a Nice Day. I'll listen, but I don't have high expectations at all

I think this is becoming my favorite Cherry album. I liked most songs off previous albums, but there’s been some I just didn’t like. I haven’t really found one on this album yet

To me, Kick has a lot of that 70s sound to it, but it still sounds like Def Leppard. I am cautiously optimistic about a few songs on the album based on what has been said about them, but I'm still excited. Kick is far better than the leadoff single from the last album. Let's Go had a very very weak chorus. I thought Dangerous was 100x better
Far too many people have expectations of them doing an album that sounds like High n Dry or Pyromania. They need to stop. It's not gonna happen.
Personally, I don't compare bands albums to each other, no matter who it is. If I like it, I like it. I won't dislike an album cause it doesn't sound like previous albums. I think a lot of people do that though, and they're only doing a disservice to themselves.
In regards to Vivian, anyone blaming him for this shift is fooling themselves. He has very little say in even songwriting, why would they let him change their sound? It doesn't make much sense.

Now everyone loves it.And to your point about Slang, I was 6 when it came out, so I didn't get to listen to it until years and years later after I got into them. I didn't like it. But, after a few years, I listened to it again, and started to hear things I didn't remembering hearing, and now I like it. Sure, it's not in my top 3 of favorite albums from them, but it's still good. I don't think they've ever released a truly bad album

My favorite Reckless Love album, no doubt.
Other albums I liked a song here and there, but this, I can listen all the way through without any skips.
Yeah, it's not the usual sleazy stuff from them, but the album is a fun, retro, summer album

so I wonder why they left Loaded off the album? that's a killer song
Someone asked that on their facebook an they replied with something like it was a song they wrote for their 10th anniversary or something and it was always meant to be a standalone song, to tide over until they released new stuff. Something along those lines

Did the album get pushed back?
Original date was Feb 25th, but now iTunes shows a March 25 release date.
The description for the Turborider video says Feb 25th. Maybe an iTunes glitch?

So far, I'm not really liking it as much as the previous 2. But maybe it'll grow on me. I liked the singles and "Your Secret" is really good and catchy
