  1. This has nothing to do with cds but i was at a garage sale last week and picked up ten sealed copies of the first Shotgun Messiah vinyl album for a grand total of $5.00!!! The elderly lady selling them said her kid worked at Exclusive company 10-15 years ago and ended up with them. I also picked up a sealed vinyl of Dirty Blonde for $.50 . What a trip! Also ended up with a whole stack of cool old album flats. The lady was getting ready to throw them away.:banana::banana:

BTW-Christine-you're one of the first females who've ever told me they wanted to go cd shopping with me. Usually they get pretty bored watching me sift through stack after stack of cds and vinyl. That's the best way to find the good stuff. :D:D:D:D

  2. Among some of the better buys on cd I've found

    Wild Boyz-unleashed $3

    Concrete Jungle-Wear and Tear $5

    Pantera-Power Metal-$8

    Pantera-I am the night-$3

    Love Hate-Blackout in a red room-$3

    Vain-No Respect-$3

Nirvana-live in Madison WI disc bootleg-paid 1.00-hate Nirvana but figured someone would want it-sold it for $200.00 :D:D:D

  3. At the moment been listening to

Steelhouse Lane-Slaves of the new world

    Girl- Wasted Youth

Roxx Gang-Things you've never done before

    Megadeth-System has failed

Black Sabbath-Born in Hell-live bootleg with Gillian on vocals taken form the Born Again tour

    Badlands-Voodoo Highway

    Outlaw Blood

    Dimmu Borgir-For all Tid

    Beatles-Revolver

My kids nver know what the hell dad's gonna throw in.

  4. My two favorites are Century Media/Nuclear Blast and Perris Records. Century Media is the best for most metal but for more hard rock/sleaze stuff Perris is doing pretty good but they def. need some help with the packaging. It'll be interesting to see what Joe Dolan does with Retrospect in the next few years. Metal Mayhem is decent too. :drink:

  5. In my experiences-The End Records and Sentinel Steel were both awesome. SS always has tons of stuff in the used cds also. The most problems I've had with mail order has been Century Media. Everytime I've ordered from them i was the proud owner of a credit slip which was only redeemable through the mail. Also ever since they joined forces with Nuclear Blast they turned vastly impersonal no matter how much you spend with them. The thing that sucks is 75% of my favorite bands are affiliated with CM.

    Cheers
