  1. Baltimore? yikes

Sadly I am a cowboys fan....Prediction 8-8 if Romo says healthy. There defense is bad. They will need to light it up offensively.

I thought Greenbay never tried to establish the run, which you must have against Seatle. Very few screens too. Lacy was as usual under utilized and then he got hurt. I was so angry Green bay never tried to attack Sherman. He is over hyped and a thug. Well really most of seatle's team is. So much for the league cracking down on the Defensice hand checking though. What a joke. As long as Seatle is allowed to maul recievers they will win another superbowl which makes me gag. You heard it here!

  2. I was there.

Good show. Ratt was horrible due to the sound and you couldnt hear Pearcy very well. Queensryche had a disappointing st list I thought. Stryper was one of the best but they cut them short because things got delayed early. Warrant got way too big a time slot but Robert Mason and Michael Sweet were the best frontmen of the show.

Dokken was solid and John Leven is amazing. Don is Don. People poopoo his voice but it is what it is and sounded decent and very acceptable to me.

XYZ was solid as was Skid Row. Skids did it right and played all the songs the fans wanted to hear. They really made a case for them being on the bigger stage next year.

    My 2 cents

  3. Rock Candy is a boot. Period. I have to admit the picture from the ebay auction looks good. The fact that I have the art for that cover, I know its a boot. Also, the band could never agree on the rights and especially money. The guitarist and other band members wre ready, but the singer thought it should sell millions and want the world to release it. The guitarist is a very cool guy, its a shame. The demos for the 2nd cd are even better.

  4. I refuse to pay more than $40 for sneakers. They must be heavily on sale. Shoes don't cost anymore to make than they did 20 years ago. I play tennis 3 times a week and burn through shoes really fast. I bought out my shoe and all I could fine because they discontinued it. $40 plus buy one get one half off plus 20%, I bought 7 pairs. Doen to 1 pair left, not sure what will happen after that. I burn through the bottoms, they still look good from the top.

They don't make them like they use to.

  5. Sad news but not surprising. I guess I feel worse for Mac and Steve Lee which were much harder to deal with in the way that they passed. That being said, Jani was a talent. Met him in the airport after Rocklahoma one year. Was super nice to talk to and had a cool photo with him I put somewhere. He was really cool and down to earth.

  6. My take on this is I like that they release 22 songs. Of course there will be fillers, but everyone has their own taste. I might like some songs other people do not, so it throws them all out there. I think a lot of people still just put the songs they like on an ipod or whatever anyway. We always here demo songs released by artists we like that never see the light of day and wish that they had. I like their concept. They are also pretty diverse, so patches of songs will appeal to different people.

The vocalist was on idol 2 years ago, made it to Hollywood week. He had to be removed though because his American Visa was not received in time to be elligible. He did win the English version of Idol many years ago. HE sounds very Bryan Adams ish to me with a little less rasp. I like this band.

  7. I have a hard time rating anything a 100%. High 90's are used a lot. From Andrew's 100 list, I think the WEt was very high in my mind, maybe high 90's. One of the few cds that I think could not have been improved upon at the time was Queesryche - Operation Mindcrime. While I have a broad range of tastes, the heavier part of me thinks this is as near flawless of a cd I can think of.

  8. Maybe the dumbass falcons could have traded half the picks they gave up in this draft. What were they thinking? Cleveland is grinning at getting the best deal since the Herschell Walker trade back in the day for my Cowboys. I shook my head for 10 minutes on the Falcons.

My Cowboys picked up a needed OT, they need more help on both lines.

I live near Buffalo so I try to root for them (it's really hard) but they got a great pick that they needed. I was afraid they would do something stupid again as usual but they made an obvious yet great choice.

    My 2 cents
