Picked up HOSTEL (Unrated) on Wednesday. Great, nasty hardcore horror movie that is essentially 40 minutes of N&A (that's norks and ass, in case you were wondering), followed by 30 minutes of sick, sadistic, cringe-inducing torture sequences, capped off by a bloody revenge-fueled finale.

In other words, I loved it!!

Picked up HISTORY OF VIOLENCE today. Cool little flick with a good story, Maria Bello naked, and a healthy dose of graphic, bloody violence...no wussy PG-13 crap here, folks!! :bigboom:

We bought my son yet another "Thomas the Tank Engine" DVD yesterday, which leads me to believe that his DVD collection is now officially bigger than mine. Yes, I'm jealous.

  • 2 weeks later...

Just picked up (off eBay) a DVD of an Australian western called "The Proposition" (which is having a limited theatrical run here in the States). A real grim, gritty, bloody film, with a whipping scene that is so graphically gory it might just surpass the scourging sequence from "The Passion of the Christ."

TRANSPORTER 2

The ending kind of sucks, but otherwise this is a fun little action flick with some sweetly-choreographed, over-the-top fight sequences. And Jason Statham's character is just flat-out cool.
