Wow Tim (2), really gotta disagree with you there. IMO, one of the best CDs in the last 15 years and to be honest, one of my all-time faves. I think it is almost perfect melodic rock... IMO.

 

Anyway, my listenings are all over the place this evening and as such:

 

Now listening to Just Surrender - awesome modern rock.

 

Just listened to Theory of a Deadman 'Say goodbye'. It is a very good track, but man it reminds me of Nickelback and Hinder... has a sort of 'Far away' tinge to it. Great song though.

 

Wow, Just Surrender are f*cking excellent.

 

I also listened to Joshua (okay, a few great tracks), John Waite 'The hard way' (great stuff - love the acoustic version of 'Missing you'), Femme Fatale demos (some pretty cool ones), Dirty Deeds 'Real world' (like the first one, good stuff)... but f*ck, I am loving this Just Surrender. Unfortunately it's just a few tracks I got off the net, but I'm going to have to track this down - very, very Cauterize-ish. In fact, f*cking hell, I am close to orgasm here, seriously... but this is awesome stuff. Has a HUGE Cauterize vibe. I must seek desperately more on these guys right now. This is amazing!!! I'm listening to the song 'Our work of art' by Just Surrender and am about to blow... try and get yourself a copy!!!

Now listening to Nobody's Fool - 'II' ; very good aussie melodic rock. I really dig these guys - great sound. I was listening because I was about to put it up on ebay but it appears it'll have to wait a few days. But check it out, with your wallet and lots of dollars please when I put it on ebay. Jokes, it's not that amazing, but it seriously is very good.

 

Also listened tonight to:

 

Liberty and Justice - the new one. Some good/great songs - love Ted's one. Again, not too into the them and vibe, but some good songs.

 

MARS - 'Project driver' ; wow, what a great heavy rock CD!!! Loved it.

 

Malice in Wonderland - s/t ; okay-ish.

 

Mammoth - best of ; ha, these guys actually sounded like Journey for a bunch of the songs, but a bit ballsier. Overall, a lot of filler and some harder stuff. It was okay, a few good songs.
