Another rather average day;

Bulletboys - 10 Cent Billionaire

Bulletproof Messenger - The Crucial Line

Matthau Mikojan - Mania For Life

Miles Above - Move Or Be Moved

Tony Mills - Cruiser

Millenium - Angelfire

Millenium - Hourglass

Million - No. 1

Million - We, Ourselves & Us

Million - Electric

Million - Detonator

Million - Kingsize

Million are such a patchy band, never held onto any if their CDs. Millennium's Hourglass is a classic tho! How'd it rate?

Both Milleniums are excellent.

Million are bog average imo.

And then there is Bulletproof Messenger............stonkingly great album

I tell you what doods, I thought exactly the same about Millenium as both of you. I put them into the stereo expecting big scores. But jeez I walked away amazed at how some of the stuff I thought was so great in 1999-2001 really ain't that great.

I absolutely love Santollo's sound and prefer the Monarch album tenfold. The Millenium albums scored a 75% and 73% respectively, which is fine... but not the kind of stuff that makes my anus dance. For the record, Bulletproof Messenger scored 75% too. Very solid for what it is, but again, time and what has followed has not been overly kind to it.

Million aren't the greatest band ever, but for the record, their 'No. 1' album was the highest score of that day with 78%.

Anyway, two days of tunes, including some great stuff*:

Mirror - Mirror
*Mirror Mirror - Kick It!
*Misha Calvin - Evolution
Miss Crazy - Miss Crazy
Modest Attraction - The Truth In Your Face
*Monarch - Monarch
*Eddie Money - Right Here
Burning Rain - Burning Rain
Burning Rain - Pleasure To Burn
Monkey See - Monkey See
Monkeyhead - Monkeyhead
*Monro - Monro
*Monster - Through The Eyes Of The World
Montazh - Reach
Montreal - Montreal
Moon'Doc - Moon'Doc
Moon'Doc - Get Mooned

the thing about those Millenium albums, is that the best songs are excellent, but there is filler on both albums, so I wouldnt expect a mega high score....having said that mid-70s seems a tad harsh, I would expect 80-85% for both.

I'd be genuinely surprised if you got to 80% for either of them. I actually didn't think the fillers were the problem... I just found it all around that 70% mark bar a song or two. Nothing at all wrong with the albums... just nothing really great about them either. :(

Anyway, as soon as I got to 'M' I think the first artist I looked forward to was Michael Morales, and the day arrived today. By christ I love this guy. Great day on the stereo overall;

Michael Morales - Michael Morales
Michael Morales - Thump
Michael Morales - That's The Way
Moritz - City Streets
Motley Crue - Too Fast For Love
Motley Crue - Shout At The Devil
Motley Crue - Theatre Of Pain
Motley Crue - Girls, Girls, Girls
Motley Crue - Dr Feelgood
In fact, of that lot, the only albums that didn't score above 80% were 'Too fast for love,' 'Theatre of Pain' and 'Girls x 3.'

Mmm Dr Feelgood is massively overrated. In fact Motley Crue in general are.

Their albums are generally very, very patchy. But 'Shout at the devil' surprised me with how good it actually is, and how awesome those best songs are. And 'Dr Feelgood' is easily their most consistent. Good stuff. For the record they were 80% and 83% respectively, so it's not like they blitzed it... but they're two very strong albums.
