Thunder - Laughing on Judgment Day

 

Love that album, love them :tumbsup:

 

Yngwie Malmsteen - Inspiration

 

That's the first time I had played that Thunder since I bought it a year or two ago and I have to admit I really like it now. I love that Malmsteen Inspiration, that one is excellent IMO.

Rush - Vapor Trails

 

A Rush fanboy now Wes :bowdown:

 

The most disappointing album by arguably the best band out there :bowdown::bowdown:

 

What??? I love this album and am not sure why many Rush die hards didn't like it.

I worked retail and always played my cds at work and this one got many spins the year it came out.

There isn't one song on it I don't like with "Secret Touch" probably being my fav.

 

Don`t get me wrong mate, such is the high quality of their back catalog, this pales in comparison. :tumbsup:

Which albums have/haven`t you heard? :tumbsup:

 

I only have the two disc "Chronicles" that has two songs from each of the albums up to "Presto".

I've been thinking about trying to collect the remasters and Amazon has them for just $7.97 right now.

I also have a copy of "Snakes and Arrows" and I think that one is probably better than "Vapor Trails".

Wow, you make me feel old... I won't listen to anything post-Signals and my favorites by far are 2112 and Hemispheres... :anon:

Snakes And Arrows is the best one for nigh on 20 years IMO :tumbsup:

 

Chronicles is decent for the odd track or two but the studio albums are exceptional.

 

The classics are again IMO....

 

A Farewell To Kings :bowdown:

Hemispheres :bowdown:

Permanet Waves :bowdown:

Moving Pictures :bowdown:

 

Everything else is just a notch short of brilliant with the exception of Vapor Trails! :tumbsup:

No, its good, but no where near awesome. IMO.

 

I've heard it only once through......and not paying full attention it sounded good...but not sure about GREAT, but.....I need to really listen to it properly before I give a 'yeah' or 'nay'....
