What's spinnin' in Geoff's head

I dunno puttz is a great word.

Everytime I have a haircut I kinda feel that everyone is staring at me and I just don't feel right....especially about 2 years ago when I had my head shaved (a number 1 they call it over here). Toying with that idea again ... baldy Nick! I come from a time when if you were a rocker you had to have long hair...I don't think that quite holds as true these days but I'd rather have my hair longer...I feel like a thug when I have it dead short.

I remember when I was about 10 my dad took me to the barbers when we were on holiday under the pretence of buying me a kite. He had my hair cut dead short and I cried my eyes out!!! :P

I also had long-ish hair once, down to my shoulders but as I came into this scene about 1994/1995 I just loved the music and didn't feel the image was essential for me too. Plus, my hair is a creature with it's own mind and when it gets long it's pure craziness. I think I've almost shaved my head before, down to a 4 over here.

I didn't like the way my almost bald head looked and will NEVER do that again.

Holy shitballs!

I am currently a 'Headlining act', at 880 posts!!! Man, that flew along at quite a pace. I missed my 700th and 800th post party. Will have to make sure I'm on it when the 900th and impending 1000th come along.

We'll all have a frankfurt and a piece of gerkin to celebrate.

Good to see you got the saying of 2005 into your post!!! Heh!!

Ahem ...Holy Shitballs ... It seems like only yesterday when you were building up to the 500th...wipes away a tear from a misty eye, then puts it back in the bowl.

"wipes away a tear from a misty eye, then puts it back in the bowl" - LOL

Brilliant. Yeah, I remember the hype surrounding my 500th post, but I seem to have missed my 900th as well!!! Man, I certainly am slipping...

You should all have a frankfurt and a gherkin in the mail though. We'll all eat them in unison when they're all received, yes?

Geoff is okay. Thanks for asking.

I was kind of wondering.... but it is not like me to pry...

Please do pry, I'm easily opened. You don't even need a can opener.

I havent had a haircut in 5 years. haircuts are overrated. In fact the only time I cut anything is when I cut my nails, which I usually end up regretting when I get that itchy booger deep in my nose that I can't pull out. I'd consider myself an adaquete nose picker overall though, so I'm not too bummed. My cat is always bugging me for attention too, so if I'm picking my nose my boogers end up on her fur quite often. No worries though, she licks them off, not me.

my cat is awesome actually. when she was a kitten every second I got I'd be petting her and telling her I loved her. And she got in the habit of falling asleep on my lap. I've never seen an animal love one person or thing as much as my cat loves me. She was so attentive and willing to listen to me I have her trained better than most dogs. She can sit, lay down, get down (Which I tell her alot as shes constantly knocking over my stacks of CD's on my desk), come, stay, meow (which she does so quietly and as cute as possible). When I ask her if she wants to go out she runs to the door if she does. When I ask her if she wants a treat 99.9% of the time she jumps up points her tail in the air and starts rubbing her face against my leg and trying to look as cute as ever. I swear she understands almost everything I say. She even sleeps with me every night and she waits by the window for me to come home when I'm at work. I can always count on her being there waiting for me when I come home :)

The downside of being loved so much is that she's constantly on my lap or putting her paws on my head wanting attention and petting. I can't get on the computer until I've given her a good 10 minutes when I get home from work.

And oh, get this. I'm actually half deaf due to nerve damage so my alarm clock never wakes me up, but when it goes off she crawls off on my chest and puts her paw in my face to wake me up. She's gentle enough never to hurt me and its the cutest thing I've ever woken up to.

My kitty is quite a marvel too. The most tame cat ever. You can pet his belly, nibble him, beat him up like a little fluff cushion and he keeps coming back for more out of pure love. He's super untrained though and still doesn't even answer to his name, though he does sit before we feed him.

I've not eaten him yet, but I plan too. Complete opposite to my little kitty (or old, by now) back at home who I also love dearly. Cutest kitten ever, turning out to be the most violent cat... ever! Lovely thing, but a touch of her belly = a loss of substantial amounts of flesh, and my dad has many scars to prove it.

Anyway, enough talking about kittens. I eat them... all kinds.

In Geoffs head......

........Pure excitement, waiting for Santa to drop off his Cauterize T-shirt.

Oh man, I'd love a new shirt from the 'Paper wings' album - got the 2 from the 'So far from real' album and wear them proudly often. :) But the new ones look awesome too. Thanks Nick, for buying them for me and sending them over to Australia for me. Much appreciated Santa... uh, whoops, I mean Nick.

If I knew where to get them I'd gladly get 'em and send them over...but alas I have no clue and the reindeer all have colds!

Well that's very disappointing. I was going to eat fried kitten for Christmas dinner, but looks like I'm going to have to cook up a feast of useless reindeer instead...

Reindeer are low in fat Santa told me....but I countered that surely they are fatty due to the cold places they can be found mooching about in. In so doing I quickly destroyed his lame attempt at getting me porky by turning me on to eating them (thus leaving more kittens for him).

Well done, Nick. It ain't easy getting one past Santa. When he comes to me with a zany fact that I cannot comprehend, I usually belt him in the belly with my knee so he leans forward and I then pull his little red beanie over his head and run.

Last time I did this he sent Blitzen after me. He caught me around the ankle with his teeth, dragged me back kicking and screaming and Santa and his elves proceeded to prod me with pins, needles and toucan beaks for the rest of the night. He has a sparkling clean image, but few have seen him in the light I have seen him in.

The truth will come out eventuallyand be shouted from the rooftops.....be strong my friend! I shall weep quietly as I pray for you!

Thanks Nick. I know what you say is true, but until that day I will seek your quietly wept prayers in the night, trying desperately to grasp them if they should pass my padded window in the darkness.

The picture I keep getting each time I read the above is in the movie Young Frankenstein where the monster is trying to snatch the musical notes from the air!

What's this about a padded window?

I am "kept" in a special place where there is no glass.
