Love both Star One Albums. Each song is based on a work of science fiction, such as "Dune", "Bladerunner", and "Alien".

OMG WTF. This is everything wrong with popular music at moment. Makes me want to shit on my hands and clap until it ends!

 

 

Yeah. Slick production from one of the best in the industry, Noah Shebib. Super sultry vocal performance by The-Dream. Praising beautiful women. The rap might detract a bit from the song, but the atmosphere. The atmosphere alone will get you wet. This is one of the finest examples of R&B. Definitely everything wrong with popular music.

I actually didn't love that song as much as I was expecting. Maybe I need to listen to the album in full.

The album is ok, but the two tracks by Jorn are quite good, this one being the better of the two.

An older thread started by Dan put me on to "Serious Black" and i loved his voice.

I'll check out some of his "Tad Morose" stuff next, but for now i'm loving this album.

One of my favourite Jorn albums.

Not sure about the "acquired taste/open mind" comments.

It's a great Metal "concept" album that i would be surprised any metal fan wouldn't enjoy.

Mate. I do apologize. I just checked out the original thread for this album that you dug up and you were right. It seems that it was not as well received as i would have expected. I still love it though. Jorn Rules!
