Hard to explain why. When I first heard it I really didn't like it instantly.

It grew on me fairly fast, and that coupled with the lyrics and video melded fairly well with where i was in my life at the time.

Yeah similar story. I didn't like it initially. My bro and a cousin would play the song every single day and I would think what's so great about it. But I guess the tune just got stucked in my head and it kinda slowly started to grow on me. Now its a song I love dearly.

Mate, I cannot tell you how much I struggled for a song of the day today. Up until that CD I had nothing. I'm enjoying rating my modern discs, but I have no doubt already rated all the best ones already. Hoping for a few exceptions as I'm yet to rate one above 80% in the current batch so far...
