Does anyone really care what is in a video these days? I can't remember the last time I watched a music video all the way through as they are almost all ridiculous.....I do however listen to the music and that is what is important....

People just have to get offended about anything these days including if a singer wants to dress a certain way or not.

True, our species is turning into what I call 'balloon people'....everyone seems to be actively looking for a reason to be outraged or offended no matter how small or insignificant so that they can complain and criticize....maybe if everyone took a long hard look in the mirror and tried to fix that persons shortcomings the world would be a much better place....

These new songs are really doing very little for me.

On one hand the videos are fun to watch in a soft porn type of way lol.  But on the other hand it's pretty cheesy too and almost sad they're trying so hard to kind of sex Chez up.  It's like they're trying to make her Madonna or something.

Either way, the music is a pass for me.

I'm into it. Song's okay too. I do enjoy it a lot, but it's a kind of awkward 80's sexiness - almost a little too tacky / awkward to be completely rod-slingingly sexy, but I like the idea... and the buttocks.

Fantastic album as expected. Got my signed CD this morning and loving it.

Have not bought many albums this year due to finances (gonna have to do some serious catching up when I start working again next year), but it's gonna be extremely tough to pick a top album of the year due to how much I love this, the new Megadeth and new Electric Callboy. (just shows how varied my tastes are ha ha)

Just saw part of an interview some guy did with her today, and one of the things she said was the first song had a bunch of songs that were originally written for Crazy Lixx and never used, but this album Danny has written more with her vocals in mind.

No real surprise as a lot of people compared the songs on the debut to Crazy Lixx. Still hearing some of their sound on this, but I agree, there is defo more 80s Heart & Vixen on this, with touches of Leppard backing vocals (another Crazy Lixx staple) and even the odd bit of 80s Kiss (especially on the opening track which reminds me of Forever in the chorus)

Chez and Danny did a long Q&A tonight on FB and YT, and at one point Danny was talking about how he creates the songs and spoke about several off the debut being unused Crazy Lixx songs, he then played the demo of Better than love, with him on vocals that was the first song he sent to Chez.

Obviously it was during the stream but it sounded really good quality. A little rougher on the vocals and less polished, but it now makes me want to hear more songs he and CL have recorded as demo's and never used.

 

Oh and someone asked them what the Japanese bonus track was, and Danny said "If you have seen any Japanese Frontier releases, you know. They always put acoustic versions of tracks already on the album."

Hard to tell 100% but it sounded like he was taking a swipe at them. This is why I don't bother with most Frontiers Japanese releases. I have a couple of LA Guns ones that have bonus tracks that are unique and a Pretty Boy Floyd one, but cannot think of many other Frontiers releases I have bothered with.

I enjoyed the interview... I like this bit of insight. She is very giggly, but seems a nice lass. As for the album, I enjoy it, of course. At a pinch, maybe not as good as the debut, but also not very far off it at all. More a continuation. Favourite song is '(The Things We Do) When We're Young in Love.'
