Yeah, Micky Flanagan is great. This is a good clip.

We don't really have any controversial stand ups down here.

I guess you could say Jim Jeffries, but I'm not really a fan.

Go back to the 80s and there were a few including Col Elliott and the Legendary Rodney Rude, but they were more "dirty" than controversial.

Who is the biggest comedian in your respective country? I hate most comedians, but the ones I like are generally extremely offensive, but in a clever way, my 2 favorites are far and away Anthony Jeselnik, and Jimmy Carr, do you Aussies have any other then Jim Jefferies?? does Finland have any offensive comedians worth looking into? something ive been noticing lately is how many entertainers I enjoy who were born in Canada, people like Phil Hendrie who dont really talk about it, but it's kind of odd, I cant think of any Canadian comedians, off the top off my head, LOL

I can't think of any modern Canadian comics, be we used to have a bunch of great ones.

Have you heard of Chris Porter? He's American. His Ugly and Angry special on Amazon Prime was pretty good.

Also, Anthony Jizz-on-neck was funny for a few minutes, but then every punchline became so predictable. And how many dead baby jokes do you need?

Yeah, the entire Toronto cast of SCTV, Dave Thomas, John Candy, Eugene Levy etc.

Jimmy Carr is awesome.

Locally I guess either Isaac Butterfield or Kinne

Actually, this question has shown how pathetic our stand up comedy roster is.

There is of course, Hannah Gadsby.

I'm sure Cody would love her. She's very easy on the eyes as well.  ;)

Am I the only one who doesn't find Jim Jeffries preachy comedy funny? Most Aussie comedians are basically activists these days.

My favourite was Norm MacDonald R.I.P. watched his "Hitler's Dog" special a few nights ago. Funny as hell.

You guys need to check your microaggressions, you don't think Jimmy Carr's funny? Anthony Jeselnik? how about Ron White? not funny? Bill Burr?? ive seen Flannagan, he is hilarious, it's gotta be clever, like Dice, when Dice started, he was fucking legit hilarious, then he just turned into a parody of himself, I miss that kind of shit, it can only be original for so long.

    • Glamfest is done. Couldn't make it financially viable. But their Facebook page promoted the potential tyketto tour. Not sure if they are handling the tour or just doing a nice thing. Time will tell. Didn't know The Used had been out before, missed that in the past. Hopefully I'll be around when they come out and can catch them.maybe they will support tyketto?
    • Is Glamfest meant to happen again? I’m assuming probably definitely not… well at least not same time as it was last couple of years. That’s a shame.    The Used used to come out all the time for stuff like Soundwave and Warped tour and stuff, if I recall correctly. Haven’t seen them for several years now, and they haven’t put out much music in that time either. Couple of good cuts on their latest album, though.
    • Tyketto returning to Australia. Also The Used coming out here. Both tours teased but not announced yet.
    • I watched the videos today... I dunno what to make of it. On one hand I don't think it's worth all the fuss, but I guess it gets a bit awkward due to the fact he is an actual vocal coach. Not a great look but I guess this is what happens these days. Just maybe not quite as common amongst vocal coaches, though...
    • I might try V4 again when I get credits again, but like I said above, also a bit keen to finish all the V3.5 stuff with V3.5. In saying that, though, I would be sad if V4 got good while I wasn't watching and did myself a disservice.  100% with you on that remaster wish. If they could accomplish that it would be dreamy. I still have so, so many results that are really cool, but I'm so down on the audio quality that I don't know what to do with them. Continually trying to cover them doesn't seem to work 99% of the time, plus you lose the end and have to recreate the entire end to the song.  Like you say, just to be able to keep everything about the song as it is, but get an awesome new remaster; it'd be perfect.  Haha, I was just thinking today I need to fix up my bandcamp page, lol. I put a band pic on there but wrote immediately underneath that it was just to create a vibe... but I haven't used it anywhere else and realised it wasn't an avenue I'll be pursuing.  Thanks! Yeah, I must admit that back when I was writing all those lyrics I always thought that one day I'd put the effort in, learn guitar and at least create some basic versions of those songs. That, of course, faded through the years, but this is the most ideal case scenario for someone in this position.  I still think most of my 200 tunes will probably remain unreleased, but I don't know. I go back and forth with it. Right now, just trying to sort through my 2001 songs and there's way more than one album from these sessions I'll want to release. If I could get the audio where I want it, possibly as many as three albums from just the 2001 sessions I'd be happy to release... but still all baby steps. Still several 2001 tracks I've not yet completed as I can't find them in my Library, lol. Even after cleaning it up a bit...  But yeah, I have always loved music a lot. I always said my three passions in life were photography, surfing and music but the music one always seemed a bit silly as it was just my love for listening to it, but it's awesome to finally get something tangible out of this love of mine too. I actually already miss writing new tunes while I'm trying to clear this whole backlog - cannot wait until I can just concentrate on the new stuff. I think some of my new songs from this year are actually pretty good - pretty "personal," though, which will be interesting to see how I handle when the time comes... Hmmm, tight. I thought I preferred #1 but back to back maybe the new one just edges it out, for me. I do like the chorus in V2 better. Two nice results, though.
    • Its the first & 2nd albums (Wildstreet & Wildstreet II) as a single release titled Origins as far as I've read, along with some rarities. https://www.eonianrecords.com/blog/wildstreet-release-origins
    • I mean Juno Roxas was hilarious making fun of this dude for a while. Lost a few Facebook accounts because of it lol Pretty sure he's related to Sammy Hagar
    • For those playing along, (basically Geoff). Here's version two of, "I Only Know You're Here".   https://suno.com/song/73452ce0-2052-490d-8c6d-6b23c2f8c12d
    • I have absolutely no plan on how to present this on YouTube. I like the idea of a lyric video. I have to wait until the Christmas break to explore my options in more depth, just far too busy at work at the moment.  As for V4, I don't know if it's my imagination or not, but it seems to get better the more you use it. It's still not perfect, but I think it's getting better. I still want to hold off releasing my final versions until the remaster option improves. Ultimately when it comes to remasters, I waht carbon copy of the original, but with crisper vocals and more dynamic music. I don't want the structure or melody changed whatsoever. Hopefully we'll get to that stage. I don't think I'd go down the path of an AI created image of a band. That's beyond cheesy and I don't really want to present this as anything other than it is. A middle/old age guy living vicariously through AI generated music tracks. Don't get me wrong, I'm actually quite proud of the songs I've written and think they hold up in their own right without adding another level of fakery, as do your songs. I'm still in awe of the fact that you've been so passionate about this music and songwriting that you have 200 or so songs ready and waiting. I've always thought how great it would be to write songs, but obviously I've never had access to musicians or singers, so why bother? The instant results you get from Suno changes the landscape completely.  You, on the other hand, not only wrote these songs, but kept them for many years.  You're a true music lover, my hat's off to you man.
