From Frontiers:

Frontiers Music Srl is thrilled to announce the signing of Swedish AOR band Houston for a multi-album deal. The band is hard at work recording their yet untitled fourth studio album under the direction of former member and AOR guru Ricky Delin, who will co-write and produce the new album.

“It feels good to have Ricky back behind the wheel on this album. He is an incredible songwriter and we all know the great work he’s done on our previous albums. This will be the Houston album above all others,” says singer Hank Erix.

“We’re truly excited about the new music that we’re working on. We knew right from the start that we wanted to go back to our roots and make a classic AOR sounding album again. After all, this was the sound that put us on the map in the first place and what we do best. Sonically, the new record will be the more refined sibling to our first two albums. We’ve had a decade to grow as songwriters, musicians, and most importantly as a band and I think this really shows,” adds Carl Hammar, the band’s guitarist.

”This album and the songs are one big homage to our favourite AOR heroes such as Survivor, Foreigner and Journey, but also influences from John O´Banion, Meatloaf, John Farnham, and many more. We wanted to make a great AOR album and make it big, fresh, and truly bombastic. And if you want to make a bombastic AOR album, Ricky Delin is the go to producer. Ricky, who played a big part in creating the Houston sound on our first albums, was as excited as us about the idea of working together again and jumped at the opportunity,” continues Carl.

Houston released their self-titled debut album in 2010 and landed at number one on Classic Rock Magazine’s AOR chart that year, beating out some stiff competition. The band then went on to play the festival circuit with appearances at Sweden Rock, Download Festival (UK), and Rock of Ages (Germany), as well as touring the UK with Swedish sleaze rockers Crashdïet. Houston’s second album, “Relaunch” featured a cover song called ‘Runaway’ that became the soundtrack to Red Bull’s own Danny MacAskill’s Extreme BMX video ‘Imaginate’ which has almost 100 million views on YouTube and over 1.3 million plays on Spotify and counting.

”It feels great to be part of the Frontiers family, to work with a label that shares our taste in music and has the muscle to get it out to the masses. Needless to say, many (if not most) of our heros are signed to Frontiers so they are definitely doing something right. Houston and Frontiers deserve each other!” concludes Hank.

Fans can look forward to another classic AOR masterpiece in the making with a release pencilled in for the end of 2021/early 2022.

    • So I will chime in, but it matters not I'd assume. Firstly doesn't the actual illness have to be in the shot for it to be considered a "vaccine"? Everything I have read says that these shots do not contain COVID. IE: the flu shot, actually contains the flu, so its a vaccine. A Ruebella shot contains, yep Ruebella. Measles shot, ding ding ding, contains measles... so everyone, those are vaccines. If that is the case the first push for intelligence is to stop brainwashing the public into thinking and saying "get vaccinated" when its not. I also read that when you get these experimental shots (as obviously there have been very limited to no trails, so no one know wtf will happen or not from them) you sign a waiver (probably unknown to the shot receiver) that basically states tuff shit if you get sick or die cuz you waived/signed away your rights to use this experimental (or trial) drub. And lastly, just like everything in life having the choice and voice to do for you what you think is best is what its all about. The government or bullying or peer pressure shouldn't dictate shot or no shot. If you are safe, then you won't get it, simple. I know more than 2 handful of people that are fully "vaccinated" and still got COVID. So wtf is that? Be safe everyone, be smart. Mask up, hand sanitize, keep your meathooks out of your eyes and mouth and you'll do just fine.
    • I remember the Left using false statistics about terrorism attacks to shout down people with legitimate concerns. Like "you have more chance of dying from your fridge falling on you than terrorism". Such a fake stat. when you consider you go near a refrigerator dozens of times a day and you may only come near a terrorist once in your life if you are unlucky.  Funny that the same form of manipulation of stats isn't applied to dying from covid. So yes, it is rare to die from a vaccine  but, guess what, it is just as equally rare to die from covid as a 45 year old.
    • There has to be some form of responsibility attributed to the employer since they mandated the form of vaccine. A lawsuit seems appropriate in those circumstances.
    • side effects suck, and can be fatal. Sad, but real life, and extremely rare. More chance of dying from a coconut landing on your head than from a shark attack etc
    • Agree with all that. Glad you got a shot, even if it was not ideal for you to do so.
    • https://thecovidblog.com/2021/07/11/robin-spring-saunders-45-year-old-baltimore-woman-gets-mandatory-mrna-injection-for-employment-dead-six-days-later/ TheCOVIDBlog.com July 11, 2021 Ms. Robin Spring Saunders. BALTIMORE — A 45-year-old mother achieved her goal of employment at one of the most prestigious universities in the world. But she never made it to her first day of work. Ms. Robin Spring Saunders received her first injection of experimental mRNA on June 21, according to her Facebook page. It’s unclear if it was Pfizer or Moderna. But at this point, it doesn’t really matter. She apparently was not thrilled about receiving the shot. But she did it as a condition of employment at Johns Hopkins University, which mandates the experimental shots for all faculty and staff. The adverse effects were almost immediate. Her cousin, Crystal Grainger, wrote on Sunday morning, June 27 that Ms. Saunders was experiencing life-threatening reactions. She was on a ventilator and suffered from brain and heart issues. Ms. Grainger, as some others have reported, said the reaction came after the second injection. But that would mean Ms. Saunders received two shots in less than a week, which is highly unlikely and very dangerous. Several family members and friends confirmed it was the first shot. The damage was too severe to overcome. Ms. Autumn Harvey, Robin’s daughter, confirmed that her mother passed away later that afternoon. Several others confirmed her death thereafter. From dream to nightmare It appears Ms. Saunders wanted to work with autistic children and earned credentials to do so. Her Facebook page indicates that she bootstrapped her way to the Johns Hopkins opportunity. She was working several jobs at the time, including Home Depot, Lowe’s and Amazon. She was hired at Johns Hopkins University to fulfill her midlife goal. Several friends and family members talked about filing a lawsuit against Johns Hopkins. It will be interesting to see if they follow through. Ms. Saunders is survived by her mother and daughter.
    • It was also reported that Santa Cruz's Instagram page was hacked and that's why it was deleted. I hope they return.
    • via Wiki: Archie Cruz's rehab and band line-up changes & Moonchild (2020–present)[edit] On 2 May 2020, following a tumultuous break-up with Archie's fiancé, he left California and headed back to his native Finland throwing plans for Santa Cruz up in the air while Archie dealt with his personal issues. Ero Cruz and others left the band, leaving the future line-up and planning for Santa Cruz uncertain. On 29 May 2020, Archie Cruz announced on Instagram that he had successfully completed a rehab program. During mid-2020, Archie was accepted as a cast member/participant of the reality TV show Survivor Finland ("Selviytyjät Suomi") due to air in Finland February 2021. After the filming of Survivor Finland, Archie has been writing and recording new music during October / November at Crehate Studios in Gothenburg Sweden. With new management in place plus a team of American and Swedish Producers / Co-writers Archie continues to compile material for and negotiating a new album expected out 2021. In January 2021, Archie Cruz announced the upcoming release of his new single, "Moonchild", and stated that he and Toxy were the only current official members of Santa Cruz. The single was released on 19 February 2021 on all major music platforms, with a music video being released on YouTube simultaneously. The same occurred on 9 April 2021, when a new release titled "Crossfire" was uploaded to all major music platforms, also with an accompanying music video on YouTube. In July 2021, the official Santa Cruz Instagram page was deleted, throwing the future of the band into further speculation.
