What's wrong with racial equality? What is wrong with trying to fight climate change? What is wrong with wearing masks to combat covid? What is wrong with revising immigration policies, there are millions who have lived in the US for decades, working and paying taxes but they have no path to citizenship, you should be welcoming these people.....What is wrong with trying to ensure people have affordable health care? What is wrong with counting undocumented people, the census is about counting the peoiple living in the country, documented or not they live in the country....

I'll admit to being concerned about some of the stuff mentioned like the transgender issue,give them their own washroom is the obvious answer....like not having a decent border wall, you can put one on the Canadian border as well .....like paying those who could work for not working because of covid....and I have mixed feelings about the Keystone decision, on one hand it is a serious economic blow and on the other the Alberta Tar Sands is a national environmental disgrace....

Equality is a good thing, everyone should be treated the same and be allowed the same opportunities, regardless of their race, gender, religious beliefs, etc..  But equity and how it is defined, and by whom, can become a slippery slope.  

Nothing is wrong with the idea of fighting climate change.  I'm all for keeping the environment clean and striving for improvements in renewable energy.  But I also believe a balanced approach is important until we can truly evaluate the benefits of the various policies.  Is it wise for a country with a large amount of debt to invest tons of money in programs or technology for which we don't yet know the short or long term effects?  And with the economy the way it is currently, should we be eliminating or reducing some jobs with the hope of potential, future positions?

Racial inequality is not just about whites being hired before blacks when both have the same qualifications, it's about providing the poor, many of whom are non white, with the educational opportunies so that they can be in a position to get better jobs....

Illegal immigration has increased dramatically because the rules changed, at one time Mexicans came to the US to do seasonal work and then went back to Mexico but once the rules changed they had to choose whether to make money for their families and then try to return or stay and send money home to Mexico....

Covid is not a farce it is real and yes you should wear eye protection to protect yourself like health care workers do but considering how many people are freaking out over masks, you can imagine how bad it would be if they were told to wear eye protection as well....the face masks protect more than eye protection because you breath in the particles as opposed to the eyes where you literally have to walk into the particles.....

Climate change is a fact and whether you believe it is worsened by humans or not doesn't really matter, it is a problem that we should be addressing....

Well Im pretty straight forward with my feelings on this, and since I believe Santa clause or the tooth fairy are of the same origins as god and religion, I don't believe religion should be applied anywhere good sensible people must have to live their lives, nobody is all one religion so how do they decide that, and people like me, who wonder why anyone wants to live by an unprovable fictitious set of stories made up by men 1000s of years ago, that really have no relevance in the modern age, its imposing a set of phony rules on how we live, it has zero place anywhere other then in whatever quack shack you choose to attend on Sundays, just keep it the fuck away from my life, and completely out of the government, and country.

Covid is not a farce it is real and yes you should wear eye protection to protect yourself like health care workers do but considering how many people are freaking out over masks, you can imagine how bad it would be if they were told to wear eye protection as well....the face masks protect more than eye protection because you breath in the particles as opposed to the eyes where you literally have to walk into the particles.....

Climate change is a fact and whether you believe it is worsened by humans or not doesn't really matter, it is a problem that we should be addressing....

I agree that we should be conserving rain forests and protecting endangered species....stuff that was seriously undermined by the previous administration...

and yes most people are selfish and only concerned with themselves and their immediate families and to hell with future generations...I'm glad I do not have children that I have to look in the eyes and explain why I helped fuck up the world they are going to inherit....

So I dont know what year you were dealing with illegals, but ive lived in Utah off and on since 89, Arizona in 99, no illegals I have ever known, and theres been shitloads, ever went back to Mexico volunarily, only when they get caught and deported, so what your  talking about must've been in the 30s or 40s or something, even the ones ive known from other countries, like my 2 Irish cousins who never seemed to get the hint, deported, so yeah, so I truly fear the fall of order, entering this country illegally is illegal, when we start picking and choosing which laws we enforce or not enforce, we may as well just declare complete anarchy, which I use to be in favor of.

Theres absolutely zero evidence man has anything to do with global warming, again, so I guess we should create rain storms in extremely hot areas plagued by droughts, and when I wanna go snowboarding, why do they have to use machines to aid the snow? cant they just whip up some clouds and let it snow? it's utter bullocks, we can no more control the climate then we can anything the earth does, this earth could evict the entire human race from the planet if it wanted to, and we couldnt do a goddamn thing to stop it, and it could very well happen right up the road from me, Yellowstone decides to go, it will likely dispatch most of the human race, if not all, but enough to place us on the edge of extinction.

I guess our views on selfish differ, It's inherently a natural instinct, we would not be around today as a race if we did not have self preservation, why is it selfish to believe its not my job in this life to give what I work hard and earn to people my own age who are just as capable, maybe more then I, and they just choose not to? why cant I not work, and make them give shit to me? oh I guess I can, but thats not their job either, everyone should take care of themselves, you did not hear me say one time that their arent people who genuinely need help, I have zero problem helping people, who actually need it, but i'll be damned if anybody's going to get a hand out and it's not the governments job to do it, and if it is, I should get a say in where that fucking handout goes, like now it's going to go to another country for instance, it's bullshit, and health care falls into this category almost exclusively, if people get all the free healthcare they want, while my premiums go up cause of it, FUCK THAT!
