MIDNITE CITY announce new single “Crawlin’ In The Dirt”; release date for single & video set to January 22nd, 2021!

Since bursting out onto the scene with a vengeance in 2017, MIDNITE CITY have taken on the world and hustled themselves to the top of the pile to be crowned the true kings of Hair Metal.

Following on from the release of their sophomore album 'There Goes The Neighbourhood' in late 2018 (which was voted 5th best Melodic Rock album of the year in Classic Rock magazine and also made the list of the best albums of the past 35 year history of Japan's Burrn! magazine) the band have gone from strength to strength and proven to be one hell of a force to be reckoned with in the live arena.

MIDNITE CITY have headlined two consecutive UK tours, played shows all over Europe, Australia and also played two sold out shows in Japan and continue to dazzle a legion of growing and devoted fans around the world with their high energy, feel good, party rock.

Hot on the heels of two highly acclaimed albums, MIDNITE CITY return in 2021 with their highly anticipated third album “Itch You Can’t Scratch” on May 28th. With new label Roulette Media in tow, as well as new management and booking agent, the band are back looking and sounding better than ever with a new array of songs that will melt your face, so strap yourselves in for the ride of your life. It’s all about the good times!
+++++
MIDNITE CITY will release three singles from the album in advance. The first advance track, “Crawlin’ In The Dirt”, will be released on January 22nd and accompanied by a video. The band says about this track: “'Crawlin' In The Dirt' shows a tougher, edgier side to the band not seen or heard before. Midnite City kicks the doors off 2021 with a vengeance!'.

We will handle the PR for all three singles and the album world-wide except for the UK. “Crawlin’ In The Dirt” will be submitted to media via Haulix on January 22nd, 2021.

Not a chance.

Release date is my brother's birthday - I swear a very prolific band had the same release date either last year or the year before... I possibly thought it was Midnite City? Who knows. But yeah, couldn't be looking forward to it more.

Really strong lead single. Nice uptempo rocker with a more harder, edgier vibe. Production has gone up a notch too. Sounds like they have upped their game for this release - looking forward to hearing more.

Digging the new tune a lot.  Really like the edgier vibe to it while still being melodic.

Here's the video for the new tune:

Guessing this harder edge is why the keyboard player got rid of his "Look what the cat dragged in" hair style.

Great tune!
Good news the bands music is back up on Spotify...they had removed the band’s stuff last year.

That was down to problems with AOR Heaven... they apparently fell out with them which is why the new label.

From what I have seen with Collateral is pretty much a start up company, so my guess is the only way to really get their stuff is probably through their own website. Distribution is probably half arsed right now.

It sounds ok but it's kinda minor league compared to WET and Creye (first spin through last night and I love it!).

    • Isn't the new Jannsen jab a one off?
    • 10 weeks between them here,it started as 2 weeks but they changed it to enable more people to have at least a first jab each
    • About A Girl - Nirvana
    • Faith Hope Love - King's X
    • This is better than most things Taint has done in the last decade, but it merely rises to the level of "ok" or "not bad". Certainly nothing stellar IMO.
    • Jez, this could be right up your alley. Westcoast/AOR from Norway. I dig it. Good cover of Nik Kershaw's 'Running Scared'.   www.facebook.com/tobbmusic
    • From Red Voodoo's website: Sacramento’s rock band RED VOODOO is ready to take on the world with their debut album “BRING IT BACK” produced by Tesla’s guitarist, Frank Hannon. Red Voodoo’s sound is inspired by rock bands such as Van Halen, Sammy Hagar, Boston, and Rush. The album embodies the new generation of rock n’ roll and what music is all about. From straight forward rock songs to emotionally driven ballads, each song tells a story. Red Voodoo is Dino McCord (lead vocals), Brandon Paul (lead guitar), Andrew Edwards (bass guitar), and Nick Pesely (drums). “Bring It Back” is out everywhere now! RED VOODOO gained national attention during the summer of 2020 with their #1 Underground radio hit RISE UP, a song and video that expressed their feelings about isolation during the Covid-19 crisis and attracted the ears of their musical hero Sammy Hagar. Dino visited the legend for his birthday bash at Cabo Wabo and was invited to sing onstage with Sammy for a set of acoustic songs.
    • New lyric video for 'Blinded By A Lie'.
    • Yeah another concern is waiting 4 months or more for the second jab, the science says 8-10 weeks at the  most but the politicians are panicking in many places (including Canada) and trying to get the first jab into as many people as possible and making them wait too long for the second jab due to a shortage of vaccine....someone save us from idiot politicians who quote the science one minute and then toss it aside when it doesn't suit them....do it right or not at all.... Of course now I'm hearing from the pharmaceutical companies that we will need a third shot.....this makes sense since they have not made enough profit from this pandemic yet....someone save us from greedy assholes...
