Debut album 'X Marks The Spot' out in January through AOR Heaven.

From facebook:

This is what you get when you combine the melodic music of Anders Rydholm (Grand Illusion, Code, Demon Kakka) with the magic voice of Lars Säfsund (Work of Art, Lionville).

Our own tribute to music that focus on great melodies, big catchy hooks and tons of background vocals.

Art of Illusion
Lars Säfsund - lead and background vocals, keyboards
Anders Rydholm - keyboards, bass, rhythm guitars

Guest on the album:
Per Svensson - background vocals
Frank "Frallan" Nilsson - drums
Muris Varajic - guitar solos
Kristian Larsen - guitar solos
Jay Graydon - guitar solo
Pelle Holmberg - guitar solo
Daniel Rydholm - guitar
Tony Paoletta - steel guitar

This album is absolutely great - like Work of Art crossed with Journey, Queen & Toto.

think I might prefer this to WET & Creye. Some brilliant songs on this

Kinda hit or miss on this one for me. There's some songs that sound like showtunes that I did not like at all. Others are like great Art Nation songs and are really good. Overall disappointing because I find it a little inconsistent.

They are neck and neck for me. All 3 rated around 80-82%.

Very good start to the year. The Accept is great too. 78%

Ran through this again last night. The 2 theatrical interludes are a bit mad but fun nonetheless. In between you have 10 near perfect AOR songs.

Near perfection imo

Overall a solid album. Not as good as Creye, Wig Wam or W.E.T. in terms of the current crop of releases though.
Album has a very grandiose feel to it and the 2 interludes could easily slot in a Disney film

Lars sounds incredible as always and this is some of Anders best work. Not a bad track on this (don’t care much for the interludes) with some stronger than others. ‘Rampant Wildfire’ is excellent.

Really strong start to the year and another album to add to the rotation.
