First few spins in and it gets better with each listen. Jimmy Westerlund (One Desire) is all over this album.
Im a BFT fan, they haven’t done a bad album in my eyes and this keeps it going, really enjoying it.
Big emphasis on keyboards in this - such as the latest One Desire album. Almost a Synthwave feel on some tracks.
Arianne is everything you want from BFT and Battle Ground is one killer track.
One for my top 10 of 2020 already.

Listened to it a few times now. The singles are still great songs. Battle Ground and Candle in the window are on the same level.

I salute you and ticking away both have pretty standard choruses and sound very One-Desire-ish. But more like a One Desire b-side.

I think the ballad is pretty weak, at least I don't feel it.

Arianne is decent.

Not a bad album but last album was a little better for me.

If this album had half the guitar crunch of Perfect Plan, it would be album of the year.

This stuff could be in Eurovision. Songs are catchy as hell, but the severe lack of guitars in there is too big an obstacle for me to overcome.

I absolutely love this album.

A gem in a barren year.

A little on the soft side (I wish it had more crunchy guitars) but this is indeed a great album.

Should easily hop into my Top 10 of 2020.

I think us, Aussies, might have go to import stores to get a copy.

Cause the large electrical store in Australia, you would get reply " Who " and " We don't do imports ".

Not as immediate as their other releases and the choruses are more subtle. It will be a grower for sure. Brother Firetribe changes their sound just enough to keep it interesting on every release. The ballad is the only track I didn’t add on my Spotify mix.

The cover art is so shit...combined with the album title, sounds like an exercise or spinning class release.

They should have called it Night Drive and use the artwork from the single.

Yeah, I took a double-take at that album cover. It looks like these current Pop albums.

It's like listening to Eurovision song contest with a low in the mix distorted guitar. I like it! ; )

    • She came out with in New Romantic era, like Adam and the Ants, Duran Duran Her father, Marty, had big hits in early sixties
    • I think I pretty much have my top ten list, but seeing as I have been tracking it through the year rather than leaving it to the end as normal, I am not sure it will change being that I don't really have more purchases lined up. But being that this year I have really gone wild on filling back catalogue gaps, I may pick up something I missed from this year and that will upset the apple cart ha ha
    • Whoah this is catchy!
    • Calling for you, Emaheeval & Gone bad on the debut Widowmaker album were all Desperado songs. Of course the Widowmaker debut was released before Desperado's album finally got a release even though it was recorded after. The thing that always made me laugh was that when it was first released as Bloodied but unbowed with three extra tracks to what was the original planned tracklist, I bought it from Dee Sniders website, so was fully endorsed by Dee. But years later when Deadline released it under its original name, Ace, without the three extra songs, Dee claimed it had never been released before ... selective memory?

    • Did not have "liking an album from The Offspring" on my 2024 bingo card, but there we are. Not sure if it's pop, punk, or something else... catchy though.
    • No no no!  Worst thing in the 80s (musicwise), Modern Talking.
    • Really liking this one bar the Journey cover, which whilst not terrible , doesn’t really do a lot for me. The rest though is rather excellent
    • Desperado was weak. Couple of ok songs, but that's it. Remember one album was unreleased and when it finally came out as a bootleg or whatever, expectations were not met. But that doesn't matter when what TS did was so killer.
