Thoroughly enjoy both songs they've released so far; hopefully this is a sign of things to come in 2020! :banger:

Was it just my phone, or is it slightly out of synch.

I already like this a lot. Hard guitars, great vocals, good songs.Ok it is "just" a project, but reading the interviews they did wrote the songs themselves, and Beach even mentioned they are prepared to tour if there will be demand.

Don't know why and I'm not complaining but my cd arrived today  :) well pleased, quick flick through it so far, proper full listen tomorrow at work but I can't get "Johnny Came Marching" outta my head and the throwback ballady tones of "Make It There" sound very nice...it screams 80's radio hit,but overall it sounds great to my ears...all band members seem on top form.

The more I listen to the song Shake The World, it so could have been on Dokken's  ETS.

First run-through was solid.  Robin sounds great.  Not album of the year or anything but good stuff.

First listen and it is pretty much what you'd expect.  Reminding musically at times of Erase the Slate and latter day Winger with some heavier moments sprinkled throughout.  The production is handled nicely, Robin sounds good and Reb is on fire.  My initial favorites would be the title track, She's Onto Us, the ballad Make It There and Johnny Came Marching.  While I found Sacred Place, Immortal Souls, and Unless We Change to be a little weaker than the rest.  I think had a few of the songs had stronger hooks come chorus time this would have been another early top 10 contender for me (along with Passion and Revolution Saints) but it falls a bit short at the moment.  Still a very solid album and one I recommend checking out.

    • Debut is great! Hopefully the singer is good.
    • I agree the US is weathering the storm but you don't have much choice since many states have virus numbers that are surging due to social gatherings ... you've got to admit that if things had been handled better and there was leadership from the top instead of denial , the country would be much better off.... As for destroying statues...that shit pisses me off...there is no advantage in trying to erase history and the rioting and other destruction is outrageous and should have been dealt with harshly especially that bullshit in Seattle where people were allowed to take over several city blocks....and I would be willing to bet a small fortune that the people who vandalized the Frederick Douglass statue were of a 'pale persuasion' ...the only surprise is that it took them this long to do it...probably because they had a hard time finding a statue of a black man...

    • Looking forward to this one - really enjoyed the debut

    • From FB: GUEST STAR ANNOUNCEMENT We are thrilled to announce Rob Wylde of Midnite City will be contributing vocals on not one, but two tracks on Volume Two! One of the tracks, a first for the DPP, is a cover of an unreleased Paul Stanley track! Welcome to the DPP family Rob!
    • Kamikaze Kings - The Law  Ragdoll  - Back To Zero  Cherry Grind - A Room With A View
    • Stirring the pot, eh? Candidly, despite Trump being somewhat non-existent on the leadership front when it comes to COVID-19, the country is actually weathering the storm. Yes, there are spikes in cases due to, *ahem* "social gatherings", but the scenario for these cases is vastly different from the onset. We are testing at a much greater rate now, the majority of cases appear to be asymptomatic, and death rates continue to decline. Businesses are (slowly) reopening, and people are getting to work. This was never going to be a "flip the switch and everything is back to normal" situation. It's going to take time. The bigger concern to me are the Antifa and BLM terrorists destroying the country and its history, while local and regional authorities stand by and let them do it. It's criminal... on both the part of the thugs, and the bureaucrats. When peaceful protest turned into destruction of public and private property, and danger to innocent civilians, that shit should have been nipped in the bud, but authorities were too concerned about how they would be perceived on Twitter, and now everyone's trying to figure out how to get shit back into the horse. Not to mention that these people are fucking stupid. Over the weekend they tore down the statue of Frederick Douglass... a black abolitionist who worked to end slavery. It just boggles the mind.
