Songwriter and producer, Pierpaolo "Zorro" Monti says: "This is, without any doubt, one of the deepest and important songs I've written in my entire career. It talks about a person who's fighting against anorexia, facing those demons that try to kill the hearts, minds and souls of those involved in this hard and agonizing battle. Some people think that subjects with anorexia (and other eating disorders) use it as a way of getting attention. However, this is so far from the truth. They find themselves fighting, alone, against one of the most evil conditions that can strike a person. I really hope this song will help people become sensitive to these types of difficult disorders and be ready to offer their help to those in need".

Maryan adds: " 'Like A Dragonfly' was inspired by a searing subject, so I wanted to approach this precious work with deep respect from the beginning. Then, I discovered the strong emotion I was feeling while singing every single word of the lyrics. This song also speaks about me. I think it speaks about all of us when we search for the strength to be free from our self-made chains. It was a really intense experience for me".

"Like A Dragonfly" has been mixed and mastered by Roberto Priori @ Pristudio, while the the digital art for the single has been designed by Aeglos Art (Airbound, Raintimes, Michael Kratz, Alchemy, Wheels Of Fire). Official video clip thanks to Moviedel Productions, starring Melissa Di CianniMaryan & Alessandro Quadrelli. Make-up by Alessia Bossi Makeup Artist.

Maryan will perform "Like A Dragonfly" live on June 8, 2019 @ Dedolor Music Headquarter, during the second awaited edition of the "Rock Temple Festival". The recordings of the full-length album are taking place under the artistic supervision of producers Pierpaolo "Zorro" Monti and Davide "Dave Rox" Barbieri. Hmmm, this doesn't sound like something that should have been ignored. The first song is very nice, as is the second one. Real nice. Slight accent, but still a nice voice... and some great music in tow. Definitely something worth keeping an eye on.

    • From Escape Music: Escape Music pleased to announce the release date for RADAR - Lost In The Atlantic. The CD will be limited edition to 1000 copies only! All will be numbered 1-1000 and will include a post card hand signed by the band! First time On CD!!! Radar was formed in 1981 when David West, Rod Jordan & Gary Stevenson met at the ABC Music Store in Surrey England, where David & Gary were working as guitar & keyboard demonstrators. They set up an 8 track-recording studio ‘Secret Studios’ in West London where they composed their first recordings. In 1983 Radar was signed to Warner Bros Publishing UK and their journey began. During this time guitar player Gary Stevenson also produced ‘outside’ bands at Secret studios, one of them being an unknown duo called ‘Go West’. Gary also used David West on this project and after a few demos the Manager of the band ‘John Glover’ was impressed enough with the work that he commissioned Gary to produce 2 tracks ‘We Close Our Eyes’ & ‘Call Me’ at Chipping Norton Studios in Oxfordshire. These songs & productions caused a stir in the music business at the time and Go West had many record deal offers from major record companies. The band wanted to stay with Gary as producer so signed with Chrysalis Records who were happy to do this, and the rest is history. Go West went on to become the ‘Best Newcomers’ at the 1985 Brit Awards. Radar began recording their album at the famous ‘Trident Studios’ on Wardour Street, London early 1985. In late December 1985 Radar left these shores to reside in the Isle Of Man at ‘The Old Schoolhouse’ in Port Erin, which they converted into a residential recording studio and continued to finish the album. In fact most of the initial London recordings were scrapped and the album was re-started from scratch. Gary continued producing while using David West as his right hand man while Rod Jordan worked on writing for the album and made a few guest appearances on some of Gary’s productions. The band was happy to hold back the release of the Radar album and use the success of Gary’s production works with various bands to promote an upcoming release. In retrospect this had a negative effect on Radar, the momentum was lost and the Radar album was never released. Release Date: 19 February 2021 Track Listing: 1. A Trick Of The Light   4:29  2.
