30 years after Bruno Ravel gave us the Danger Danger debut and nearly 30 years after the iconic Paul Laine debut, we find ourselves eagerly awaiting a new release from these two legends of our music. We are all very blessed. I feel 17 again.

I agree it's probably the third best so far, but jeezus wept, it's still pretty awesome. Only behind the others because the others are top notch.

New video for 'Falling For You'.     From Frontiers: THE DEFIANTS are back with their sophomore album, "Zokusho". Comprised of Paul Laine, Bruno Ravel, and Rob Marcello,

I was never a massive fan of the first album, save a few songs.  But then I listened to it again... And again... And again... And now it's a part of my regular rotation.

For whatever reason, I didn't actually think they'd manage to follow up the debut. I'm glad to be wrong.

OK, so I'm currently on holiday in Rhodes, and while chllin' by the pool this afternoon I was browsing the forum and seen this new Defiants track had dropped. I had just got myself a nice cold Mythos so I layed back and pressed play and almost chocked on my beer as the song played 🤯 Damn if this isn't the best thing I've heard this year and have been listening to it on a loop.

SU... FUCKING... PERB!!!

Will it come out in Japan first, I want it now?

It will but only two days earlier. I like the song it's really good, I will say this though.... it's not as impressive as ''Love and Bullets'' was when they released it as the debut's first single. Might be the element of surprise they had going for them, because by now we expect great music from this band

yeah, reading all other comments one would think this song is fantastic....

I think song is nice, but nothing great, will see what other tracks on the album sound like

Ridiculously good... as if it would have been anything but with these guys involved. Should comfortably crush anything released thus far this year. The one thing I don't get; Why isn't Steve West just an official proper member of this band?

And how's the solo too? There was a sexy dose of vintage Andy Timmons in that beauty. Love everything about this.

I was never a massive fan of the first album.
Tried really hard, listened heaps, but the songs were all too samey for me.
Eventually I picked out a bunch of songs that stood out slightly more and made a best of folder beginning with these.
But they were never really stand out songs too much. Maybe Take Me Back and Lil Miss RNR

Fallin' For You is pretty killer though.
Ticks all my boxes :)

The new songs are on Spotify, so you can at least blast those two all Summer.

I hate to be a downer, but for me this one would sound so much better with Poley on vox , Timmons on guitars and Lance Quinn on the control-board.

I understand preferring Ted over Paul or wanting to hear something that sounds like Danger Danger's debut.  But unfortunately that lineup is likely never recording together again.  There aren't many releases these days that come close to matching our favorites from the 80's.  But I'm thrilled that these guys are making another album, because in 2019 it doesn't get much better than the Defiants, imo.   Plus, didn't Tony Rey perform most of the guitar parts on the debut?  ;)

I love Ted but in my opinion the Defiants with Paul on vocals is as good as it gets. Even at this age, his vocals still sound the same the way it was back in the 'Stick it in your ear' days. Hasn't changed one bit.

The first single ‘I Fell Out of Love with Rock n’ Roll‘ will be released on October 30th. CATS IN SPACE return with their fourth studio album this Winter with the sensational ‘ATLANTIS’. Nine months in the making, it is set to cause tidal waves around the globe with a sound still ‘very Cats’ but this time the ‘Rock claws’ are out. In a year which has seen much upheaval in the world, the band have also undergone some changes whilst buried deep beneath the ocean recording their new masterpiece. Joining the Cats onboard is none other than the star of Jeff Wayne’s ‘War of the Worlds’, the amazing DAMIEN EDWARDS, whose incredible vocal range has brought another dimension to the unique sounds of the band. After three hugely acclaimed and successful albums, this new line-up will certainly get the fans buzzing in anticipation of the new ‘Aquatic monster’. “Atlantis has been a testing journey for the band in many ways, taking into account some personal events and indeed the state of the business due to Covid-19. But, let us reassure you all, we believe that the new record is going to blow you away. It rocks more and has more symphony, courtesy of our good friend Mike Moran and his orchestra! We are super excited for everyone to hear what we believe is our finest album yet” – Greg Hart. Tracklist: 1. Dive! 2. Spaceship Superstar 3. Revolution 4. Sunday Best 5. Listen To The Radio 6. I Fell Out Of Love With Rock ‘n Roll 7. Marionettes 8. Queen Of The Neverland 9. Magic Lovin’ Feelin’ 10. Can’t Wait For Tomorrow 11. Seasons Change 12. Atlantis

    • New song 'Castaway'. Nice!
    • So I just heard this song, you all probably know of it, or not, I fucking really really like this song, I think it fucking rocks, but rocks in like a crossover Punk-Goth-Raw Hard Rock throwback to the Black Flag - Loose Nut type days, this song is completely raw, unpolished, and just dirty,
    • I know a few years ago I posted the very first BA song off his very first album, pretty much sarcastically, as it made me want to throw on some daisy dukes, roller skates and bop up and down my street chewing bubble gum and dancing, well I was wrong, it wasn't his first song, this one is, and guess what? it's a million times better then his old first song, I even got the disco remix, this is pure hilarity, I couldn't stop laughing after hearing this, and like his other first song, this has a mind tormentingly catchy beat to it, caution it will lure you in and get you, also, some company out of Canada BA deals with hunts uploads of this song down with intensity, anyone that gets uploaded to YouTube generally is caught by it's bots on the UL, if not that company snags it within a couple days, so I had to upload an artist who has a similar name and his song that also has a similar name, lets see how long we can keep this up there, and why the fuck does that company care if it's out there? that's almost Nancy Drew script material, very fucking odd, anyway, when your done laughing,, lets hear your thoughts.
    • err just to make this absolutely clear - this is not coming from me.  And that is not a panic stricken website it is the official UK government website with comments directly from our health secretary ffs you do what u like. at 30 odd years old yes your risk is prob negligible. At nearly 51 I would be far greater risk category even being fit for my age. And as for my parents they would prob die sadly. both have had their yearly flu jab so that risk in minor in comparison - for covid there is no treatment or vaccine. Comparing the two is quite frankly bollocks. so I continue to be careful and prudent  but I am not living my life in fear thank you very much and I am not doom mongering
