I was expecting worse after reading the comments... not the greatest song ever but to me that sounded like a leaning towards Double Eclipse more than the "Euro" sound of their recent albums...

I listened to the samples for the rest of the album and it's definitely more heavy than the last 2 albums.  Chameleon sounds pretty good to me. This will probably my favourite of the last 3 albums.

In listening to this again, it does sound a little closer to the early Hardline sound than they have in awhile, I like it

agreed, not great, but solid tune, it didn't really click for me the first time I listened to it but having given it another chance today I enjoyed it more

Nothing wrong with the song(I do hope there are better though).

100% filler to my ears. It does sound distinctly familiar, though. Can't pick the tune but jeez it sounds like I've more or less heard the song before.

Anyway, it does definitely have a debut vibe to it - just sounds like one of the left-overs that wouldn't even have been considered in the top 30 choice cuts to make the album. ;)

ok,will probably sound better in the context of an album, but atm im not feeling the new material at all  :( find it ironic that the new disc is called "life" when for me the life of band ,as in its sound now, is nowhere near the energetic and fun sound of the debut that made them such as a favourite within HH.

new song is a bit lackluster to say the least, sounds closer to a filler type ballad from an Axel Rudi Pell album than what I'd expect Hardline to release as a single/promo track

Got my copy of the album yesterday and I think it's very good after listening to it a few times. Definitely much improved effort over the last 2 albums IMO. Some fantastic rockers on this one.

Yeah definitely better than the last few releases...which isn't that hard tbh...but it sounds better than I thought it would...enjoyable disc

I actually really like the last 2 albums, and for me this fits in very nicely. The only album I don't care for is Leaving The End Open,

Decent production and good sound, but there's no songs that really stand out here for me. 'Out of time' and 'Handful of sand' are the best, but still don't really cross the line for me. :(

I've listened a few times and don't remember a single song. It's just got nothing that pulls you in despite not having anything terrible on it.

I think this album is alright but none of the tracks really stand out to me.  Pretty much every album before this has had one or more tracks that I thought were killed.  Not so much with this one.  And I *really* don't get the pre-release hype comparing this to "Double Eclipse".  It's not even in the same stratosphere in terms of quality or the sound.

    • Seem like good releases but TBH none of those have seemed to do much for me.  I kinda view them all as kind of lighter AOR that just doesn't seem to really grab me.  I need a little edge in my AOR....Kinda like Defiants, H.e.a.t, etc.  Work of Art I've tried multiple times and just don't care for at all. Haven't looked overly close at the other two although I know I sampled the singles when they came out and didn't care for them enough to go much farther.  Maybe I'll revisit.
    • No Punk, no Grunge but lots of Scandinavian Cheese. ; )
    • A nice tribute to The Midnight and FN-84
    • work of art, first signal, find me, ??
    • Been giving this a little thought....Think my top 5 is pretty strong but the next 5 are all just pretty average releases that probably wouldn't even make my top 10 in some other years. Not sure on the order of my top 3 yet but will be Crazy Lixx, Defiants and Pretty Maids in some order.  Then likely Eclipse and Degreed rounding out the top 5. Next 5 in some order are probably Station, Nitrate, Roxy Blue, Tesla and Saints of Sin.  I still might try to go back and check out some stuff I've missed from this year though so this "next 5" could easily change.

    • From Frontiers: Waiting For Monday is a new melodic rock band formed by vocalist Rudy Cardenas and guitarist/singer August Zadra. The band hails from Los Angeles and was brought to the attention of Frontiers by Jeff Scott Soto, with the label moving quickly to sign them based on their outstanding talents. Musically, you can expect classic chart topping melodies ala Journey, Styx, and Foreigner, but with a decidedly modern approach. And if you are looking for sunny, meaningless lyrics, then you probably best look elsewhere as the band has stories to tell, and not all of them happy. Originally from Venezuela, Rudy Cardenas is an incredibile vocal talent. His pipes carriedd him to the finals on Season 6 of American Idol and he has been heard on TV and movies ranging from Family Guy to Real Steel. For five years, Rudy was the power alto for the multi-award winning vocal group, M-pact, who was named Vocal Group of the Year at the 2005 L.A. Music Awards. More recently, Rudy was the featured vocalist for the Gold-selling Hungarian rock album by Mr. Zsolt. August Zadra is best known for handling lead guitar and vocal duties in iconic singer Dennis DeYoung's solo band since 2010. Since the age of 15, guitar playing has been a passion that carried August from Fairbanks, Alaska to Hollywood, California, where he attended and graduated from the Guitar Institute of Technology. He has been a regular feature in the Los Angeles music scene for the past 20 years, playing with a variety of bands, and is often sought out as a guitarist/vocalist collaborator for writing and recording projects. Completing the lineup are Joe Travers (drums), Walter Ino (guitar and keyboards), and Eric Baines (bass). Their exciting debut record is now ready to be shared with the world.  Tracklist: 1. Until The Dawn 2. End Of A Dream 3. Shattered Lives 4. Found You Now 5. Right In Front Of You 6. Must Have Been 7. Pick Your Lies 8. Inside Your Head 9. Make It Better 10. Love You Forever 11.
