Guess Dan's top 5 of 2018!

Recommended Posts

This was a lot of fun last year, so we'll do it again this year. Basically, the community tries to "home in" on my top 5 and their order. No real prize (unless you really want a tongue bath from the Geoffadillo) as people who post early are inherently at a disadvantage against those who reply after I give feedback.

It goes like this:

1. Someone posts their guess in 1,2,3,4,5 order.

2. I reply saying how many of the 5 guessed albums are correct, and also how many are in correct spots (without stating explicitly WHICH ones are correct).

3. Next person guesses based upon prior guesses and my feedback.

4. Only one attempt per person... unless we run out of active members participating.

Have fun!

-Dan

What the heck, I'll give it a shot! The previous guesses make me think I should have at least 3 of these right.  :P

5. Care of Night
4. State of Salazar
3. W.E.T
2. Palace
1. Creye

hang on?? how's that right.

Crazysam had 2 right, Alpha moved forward Kissin, WET & CoN and had 2 right, I moved forward Kissin and WET and had 2 right,  Darkstone moves forward the same 2 and has 1 right..... I'm confused.

I concur. Doesn't make sense to me as it had to be KD and WET from the start. Unless I'm missing something obvious.

Anyway, without even knowing three of these albums I'm actually talking about, my guess looks a little like this;

1. Amorphis - Queen of Time

2. Kissin' Dynamite

3. Brothers of Metal - Prophecy of Ragnarok

4. Dire Peril - The Extraterrestrial Compendium

5. WET

2 out of 5 correct, neither in their correct slot.

I think you've got us confused with this reply to Glen's list, Dan. It's obviously now Care of Night and KD which are the two correct choices, but Glen... oh, I see. Haha, what a knob. Okay, I get it. So KD, Care of Night and one of Glen's are right. I'd guess Dynazty? Oh well, I used up my guess. :(

Okay. I'm unable to have another go for the time being, but as a recap, Kissin' Dynamite is definitely number two. As for future participants,  I'd be leaning heavily towards Creye and Care of Night...... Possibly.

Oh yeah, I forgot Mike's list. So it's definitely Creye, KD and CON. Which means Dan and I already have two the same in our top 5 (Creye and CON) which I really did not expect...
