Oh shit, sorry to burst your bubble, Dan, but Palace is absolute shit. Not average; not okay - but it's shit. As in it won't even be in my top 200 or so this year. :( Super, super disappointing.

Damn. They veered that far off from the first album, or you didn't like that one either (meaning I'll probably love it :D )?

He rated it fairly well, so they must have drastically changed it up this time.

Got Ted Poley/Degreed Modern Art this morning, sounding really good, may crash my top 10 as may Creye...

Palace,Devils Hand,Magic Dance won't...and I really don't think that there are any further releases I have planned to purchase this calender year,so Im gonna listen to only 2018 releases the rest of the year and sort my chart out  :)

And a Merry Christmas to you too. I think I could post my list as it is now too, but I'll probably add a bit of text too so may do it in a day or two.

Interesting list, it is. I suspect Dynazty may be a lonely inclusion, but I'm a little more thrown by Sapphire Eyes over Creye... to directly suggest that it is the better of the two albums - another very brave call there, mate. ;)

Haha, well, to be honest I had a serious doubt on that (Sapphire vs Creye), but in the end, though I agree Creye is more polished I find the Sapphire songs a bit more compelling to me in average (except Christina which is probably best track of the year). Anyway it's nearly a tie.

Merry x-mas!

Wow, I'd never thought of you as a Tonight Alive fan. Do you have their previous albums, when they used to "rock?" I still like their output and there are some awesome tunes on the current album, but I do wish they were still a rock band, lol. Do you also like Against The Current? Another currently mellow ex-rock female fronted band who are lovely on the ears.

Anyway, interesting list, but you shock me once with Shiraz Lane over Midnite City. Really? The SL album is a nice improvement, but personally, for me, that contest is non-existent. But. To each their own. ;)

I found myself playing that SL more and more - really varied album with some great hooks.

The Midnite City is good (again) but still a bit of a one trick pony.

The production stinks as well. Almost demo like against most of my top 10.
