Looks like they're working things out, they're posting pictures with one another on instagram and captions like "The good times will never die"

A new guitarist was announced via Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/santacruzbandofficial/

Tried to make sense of the comments and I think as of now only the singer is left in the band and hiring new members, starting with this new guitarist.

Wow, big difference between these two. :( I hoped and assumed they'd be okay. Bummer.

From FB:

After working with Brody DeRozie for a few months, we mutually came to the conclusion that he was not the man for Santa Cruz. We want to wish Brody all the best to his future endeavours in music. May we introduce the Russian Rocket, 19 year old guitar prodigy: @pavcruzz 26a1.png1f525.png? We’ve been working like crazy on the low to get this band to the next level, so get stoked boys & girls! Shit’s about to get wild! XXX - The Cruz Team

I must say I'm VERY impressed with the new guitar player, and after I found out he's only 19 even more so! As a guitar player myself I really enjoy his style (maybe the singer will benefit from it as well, new inspiration etc) and also like the things he did before Santa Cruz. There are a few videos of covers online and even original songs, again very impressed by the talent and definitely interested in the next album

I'm a guitarist too but I think he's too young for this. Yeah, he's good but he needs more experience, more "blues" to play this style right. Plus I didn't feel any chemistry between them two in the video. He looks (and plays) like Archie's little brother.

Archie Cruz's rehab and band line-up changes & Moonchild (2020–present)[edit]

On 2 May 2020, following a tumultuous break-up with Archie's fiancé, he left California and headed back to his native Finland throwing plans for Santa Cruz up in the air while Archie dealt with his personal issues. Ero Cruz and others left the band, leaving the future line-up and planning for Santa Cruz uncertain.

On 29 May 2020, Archie Cruz announced on Instagram that he had successfully completed a rehab program.

During mid-2020, Archie was accepted as a cast member/participant of the reality TV show Survivor Finland ("Selviytyjät Suomi") due to air in Finland February 2021. After the filming of Survivor Finland, Archie has been writing and recording new music during October / November at Crehate Studios in Gothenburg Sweden.

With new management in place plus a team of American and Swedish Producers / Co-writers Archie continues to compile material for and negotiating a new album expected out 2021.

In January 2021, Archie Cruz announced the upcoming release of his new single, "Moonchild", and stated that he and Toxy were the only current official members of Santa Cruz. The single was released on 19 February 2021 on all major music platforms, with a music video being released on YouTube simultaneously.

The same occurred on 9 April 2021, when a new release titled "Crossfire" was uploaded to all major music platforms, also with an accompanying music video on YouTube.

In July 2021, the official Santa Cruz Instagram page was deleted, throwing the future of the band into further speculation.

Well damn... just bought one of their albums, come on here to find out if anyone likes them as well, find out they are finished. Awesome...

The first three albums with the "classic" line-up were great. With two of the best guitarists of the genre.
