Some information on a new Maverick album due out early in 2018. Loved the first two albums....Pre-ordering blindly

There was a third option that was an ultimate bundle that was $75. It came with the signed CD, shirt, patch, pick, lyric/music sheets and a drum skin or something. I think that one sold out which is why there are only two now.

 

I think the first option with the signed CD, pick and patch is the cheapest they have at the moment. I'm sure they'll add the ability to just order the CD only at some point.

Very first song in the podcast is Cold Star Dancer...it's about a minute into the podcast after all the intro stuff.

Then go to the 3:08 mark for Myrmidon followed by Devils Night.

Nice,doesnt sound as immediate as Big Red's material but its early yet,Ive already preordered this and very much looking forward to them hitting the Limelight again soon for a live date

Pretty much feel the same way.  Decent tune but doesn't blow me away. I like a couple of the other songs I've heard from the podcast I posted above better than this.

Hoping there is some variety and more melodic stuff on the album.

Yeah, I gotta agree with this. I definitely don't dislike it - pretty meaty at times, but I can't gel with it at all. It is hard to follow and really get into. I still expect a great album, though.

Sounding absolutely fantastic to me.  Personally really digging the sound of Goodbye and Seize The Day as more melodic tunes but all sounding good to me.

At about the 47:00 mark in this is Seize The Day.  For me the most immediate of any of the new songs I've heard....Reminds me a bit of The One from Big Red.....great stuff.

The debut is such a killer record. I prefer that cleaner more simple sound.

Good tune, I've listened to the album once and it is pretty good.  Initially, I'd say I prefer Big Red and Quid Pro Quo to this one.  The overall sound is a little heavier and the hooks aren't as immediate.  Maybe it will grow on me after another listen or two.

Yeah me too,the second half of the cd is more of what I'm used to hearing,but I still am enjoying the full disc,gets better with each spin...but yeah there does seem to be a lot more sort of metal sound to the first part
