From FB:

We're absolutely thrilled to tell you guys that Creye has now officially signed a multiple records contract to major label Frontiers Music srl.

From Frontiers:

BREAKING NEWS: Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the signing of one of the most exciting AOR newcomers to the scene, CREYE! Hailing from Sweden (of course!), Creye was founded by Grand Slam guitarist Andreas Gullstrand. The band recently released a debut EP which shows enormous potential and immediately sparked interest from Frontiers. With soaring vocals and harmonies and melodies that seem to have been taken straight from the 80’s masterpieces of AOR music, Creye are here to stay and the multi-album deal signed with leading Italian rock label Frontiers Music Srl will help them pursue the goals they are determined and very serious to achieve for their career.

“We were very picky when it came to choosing a suitable label for us,” says Andreas. “The options were many, but at the end of the day we were looking for a label with muscles big enough to help us get to the next level. When the question arose from Frontiers, it immediately felt like this was exactly the kind of
label that we were searching for!”

CREYE debuted in late 2016 with the single "Never Too Late," which caused some stir in the AOR scene with outstanding reviews and immediate talk of the “next big thing” to come out of Sweden. Andreas worked hard to recruit a strong line-up of full-time members as well as continuing to put together new material. In March 2017, the 3 song EP, "Straight To The Top" was released by the band, showing off a much more mature and evolved sound. And finally, in May 2017 vocalist Robin Jidhed (son of ALIEN singer, Jim) joined the band and thereby added the final piece to the puzzle.

This is just the beginning and you can be sure that CREYE will definitely live up to the initial hype!

If you are into bands such as Work of Art, Art Nation, One Desire, and early H.E.A.T, then this band is for you. If you have not yet had the chance to review them, hit the play button below NOW and have a listen to “Never Too Late,” a feel good, breezy uptempo AOR track which can only put a big fat smile on your face:

CREYE is:

Vocals - Robin Jidhed
Lead Guitar - Andreas Gullstrand
Rythm Guitar - Fredrik Joakimsson
Bass - Gustaf Örsta
Keyboards - Joel Rönning
Drums - Arvid Filipsson

So Alexander Strandell was never in the band? Just a hired gun for the demo?

It wasn't a demo, more like promo.

Need to hear them with the new singer. Alexander's voice suits the type of music them make, hoping the new guy is good.

NEW SONG & VIDEO ALERT: Frontiers Music Srl is thrilled to announce the upcoming release of the self-titled debut from one of the world's hottest Melodic Rock/AOR newcomers, Creye on October 12, 2018. Today, the first taste of the album has been made available with the release of "Holding On".

Pre-order the album & stream the single, "Holding On" here:http://radi.al/Creye

CREYE was put together by guitarist Andreas Gullstrand in early 2015. After playing in different bands over the years, including Grand Slam, Andreas felt that it was about time to turn it up a notch. His vision was to start a new Swedish pop/rock sensation that would take listeners on a journey back to the glory days of the eighties, both musically and visually. After spending nearly two months experimenting with the sound of the band, Andreas settled on what could best be described as a slick melodic rock sound with a touch of 80's retro in the mix.

CREYE debuted in late 2016 with the single "Never Too Late", which caused a stir in the international AOR scene with outstanding reviews and immediate talk of Creye potentially being the “next big thing” to come out of Sweden. In March 2017, the three song EP, "Straight To The Top" was released, showcasing a more mature and evolved sound. Andreas continued working more and more on the songwriting and crafting of new, more ambitious melodic rockers with thoughts of what would become the band's self-titled debut in mind.

“Both the sound and the writing has matured quite a lot over this past year, and of course we’ve also discovered some new sides to our music as well that might not be present listening to the EP,” says Andreas. "I’m extremely proud of every song on the whole album. If you are a fan of the EP then you will definitely enjoy this since it is by far the best we’ve ever sounded."

While CREYE’s music is clearly influenced by the sound of the 80’s, Andreas is no stranger to more modern production techniques. "I’m personally a 90’s kid, so I guess the 80’s was still pretty relevant in mainstream media and pop culture when I was growing up,” continues Andreas. "But something has always been very appealing to me about the 80’s for as long as I can remember and that is subconsciously expressed through the music I guess. But to sum it up, we’re more just re-introducing the components of a 80’s song to a 2018 production with our own touch to it rather than trying to actually write a 80’s song, plus we have been working hard to write songs that we truly liked, before everything else."

If you are into bands such as Work of Art, Art Nation, One Desire, and early H.E.A.T, then this band is for you! CREYE are more than ready to live up to the initial hype generated by their first single and EP!

The band will appear at MelodicRock Fest - Scandinavia in Malmö on June 2 and at Rockingham Festival 2018 on October 21st with more shows planned and to be announced soon!

Love it...

Yeah, me too. How is it any different to the awesome stuff they've already done? Kinda sounds questionably similar to some of that (awesome) stuff, but it's great.

New track sounds good but I prefer Alexander on vocals. I'll compare both versions of Straight To The Top when this album is released.

New song is solid.  I wish the guitar was more prevalent, intro and outro sounded good.  Of the 3 promo tracks from the upcoming album only "Christina" matches the quality of the EP, for me.

    • From Frontiers: BREAKING NEWS: Frontiers Music Srl are delighted to announce the release of “Ride To Nowhere”, the third studio album by Inglorious on January 25, 2019. The debut single & video from the album, “Where Are You Now?” is out now. The album will be released on CD, Limited Edition Box Set (CD+T-shirt), Vinyl, Limited Edition Crystal Vinyl (exclusive to Frontiers webstore), Limited Edition White Vinyl (exclusive to the Inglorious webstore), and Digital formats. Pre-order HERE: http://radi.al/RideToNowhere
      Inglorious Store: http://inglorious.com/shop/
Frontiers Store: https://www.frontiers.shop/ In amongst their touring commitments, Inglorious spent 2018 writing and recording their third studio album, “Ride To Nowhere”. A much darker, more reflective album than their previous releases, the new songs further hone the Inglorious sound – the pulsating rhythms, driving guitars and infectious vocal melodies. “This album is different in many ways. The songs came about very quickly. As with all our songs we start with a riff, and this time having new guitarist Drew added a new and heavier feel to a couple of songs. We wrote the basics mostly together all in one room on acoustic guitars and then I went away and crafted the stories I wanted to tell. For me this album is very personal. I am for the first time writing about a lot of my feelings, relationships and losses...” – Nathan James “On this album I feel that the songs are a true reflection of what we’ve been through over the past few years - both as a band and as individuals. You’ve got the highs, the lows and lessons learned along the way. The making of this album was at a time when we all had our own personal situations and changes to deal with. I feel that this definitely comes through on the recordings and particularly songs like ‘Tomorrow’, ‘Where Are You Now?’ and ‘Glory Days”. – Colin Parkinson The recording of “Ride to Nowhere” involves for the first time new guitarist Drew Lowe, who says “The album is the next step for the band in maturity. Being that it's my first, I wasn't sure what to expect, but as soon as we started we knew what type of record was coming. Hopefully the fans will love it as they follow us on the musical journey.” From the body blow riffs of the first single “Where Are You Now?”, to the beautiful melodies and bluesy overtones of “I Don’t Know You,” from the assault of “Freak Show” to the acoustic ballad “Glory Days”, “Ride to Nowhere” is an absolute gem of an album, showing not only all the influences from iconic rock albums of the 70’s, but also offering the band’s own sound and interpretation. As with Inglorious “II”, the album was mixed by the legendary Kevin Shirley (Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith). “There’s a lot of variety on this album, more so than the previous ones and that I really like. Sonically I think it sounds more fresh, contemporary in a sense and that goes for a bunch of songs on the album as well. Just the singles alone are different than how we’ve sounded in the past, but still have the Inglorious feel and vibe! Lastly I also think that musically it’s better than the previous albums, everyone plays very tasteful, soulful and collectively I feel that it’s perfect!” – Andreas Eriksson “We’re all really happy with the way the new record sounds and look forward to seeing how the fans receive it. I personally can’t wait to play the new material live on the road!”- Phil Beaver   Tracklisting: 1. Where Are You Now?
