Hey Jason (FA-Q) or more like FA-Q Jason... ITZ REALLY lame too tri and disk-credit me for my speling and grahammer, as I wasn't riting an ESZAY S2pid ASS! Cuz if I were I'd blow you away at it and critical writing isn't even my strong point, it was just a quick response to another blind ass KidRock fan who buys into his sorry image and lack of talent...

Have phun Playing, I mean Listening, to Cocky boy!!! It just got a little clearer to me why you'd like him Jason!!!

Never once did I say that I was a Kid Rock "fan." Just because I am lissening to him doesn't mean that I am a "fan."

I lissen to what you say, and that doesn't mean I'm a "fan" of The Dripper. By the way, what is your "strong point?" Being a Dripper??

"Have fun playing to cocky?" This is what you said, isn't it? What does "playing to cocky" mean anyway? Lissening to cocky makes sense, but "playing to cocky?".........

Whatever Jason, I don't come here to play games (nor to think about my composition style/grammar), I come here for the music so this is the last of my replies concerning this...

As far as "Have Fun Playing to Cocky" I really said "Playing, I mean Listening, to Cocky boy" as in I was really gonna say Playing with, but changed my mind to listening TO (not playing to) kind of as I went because I thought it was unappropriate for the site...

Oh well, read into it however you like, but if you really aren't a "fan" of KidRock's why did you get all hurt and call me a name cuz I cut him down???

Anyway, back to the subject...

HERE'S WHAT I'VE BEEN CRANKIN LATELY:

Bellicose "Love On Ice" (Killer)

Amulance "Feel The Pain"

Leatherwolf "Street Ready"

Blaz-On "In Our Free Time" (AWESOME NEW FIND)

Sraightway "Black Or White" (Exactly like Stryper, Great Surprise)

Motley "Shout"

What a coincidence Ripper, I've been listening to two of the same ones...Tim. :drink:

ELI- PUSH IT HARD

ROCK CANDY- SUCKER FOR A PRETTY FACE (One of the best damn albums I have ever heard- period!)

MOTLEY CRUE- DECADE OF DECADENCE & SHOUT AT THE DEVIL

BELLICOSE- LOVE ON ICE

7TH HEAVEN- PLANET UNDER SEIGE

DOKKEN- UNDER LOCK AND KEY

NO SWEAT S/T

*"Love Somebody" by Eli and "Radio" by Rock Candy" have about bloodied my ears. I can't turn the volume down on either. Not sure if my ears or the speakers will give first. I leave them on the repeat cycle many times a day. Killer is an understatement! :headbanger:

It has moments but some of it is just okay. You'd probably like it all based on your taste in music. I've about played "Love Somebody" 30 times a day for a week- LOL. Yeah, there are other good tunes but none I favor as well as that one. Has a very good George Lynch feel to it. Most of the album is like a dirtier Def Leppard (tinges of Dirty Rhythm and Cry Wolf), but that track has Pearcy-like vocals with the rest of Dokken backing it up. The drums, bass, and guitar kick ass! :banger:

*Long Tall Baby Doll has a "Cherry Pie" thing going.

"Whatever Jason, I don't come here to play games (nor to think about my composition style/grammar), I come here for the music so this is the last of my replies concerning this..." - quote The Ripper........

Ooooh, Don't forget you started this! You don't come here to play games, but it's ok to give me shit for lissening to a Kid Rock CD??? If you come here for the music than don't shit on me!! If you can't take the heat than keep your mouth shut and don't start shit!

It's not that I can't take the heat, it's really because I think it's DUMB. You're obviously one of those people who takes things all personal when someone disagrees on your musical taste (like KidRock, which I still think sucks)... I never once said anything about you when cutting KidRock, but now you're crying that I started shit? Whatever. I have never took it personal when people dislike or rag on my bands, which is what you did over me saying KidRock sucks... Go ahead, tell me that Noize Toys, Leatherwolf or Jillson sucks if it'll make you feel better to have the last word... -_-

I'll quote you one last time.... The Ripper-"this is the last of my replies concerning this..." Hmmm.... Why do you keep running your mouth?

Also, you said -"takes things all personal when someone disagrees " If you knew me you would know that I don't take it personal. Your the one that's getting all grumpy.

Are you done now?........

Just popped in Child's Play - Rat Race for the first time in a couple of years.

I still hate those two songs that the drummer sings. :puke:

I never liked his voice, and those songs as a whole are shit!

There are a bunch of others on there that a really good though, like...

Rat Race, My Bottle, Knock Me Out, Bang Bang, Wind, and Day After Night.

I have added the following cd's to my current rotation:

Tattoo-kings of the white trash neighborhood (rare 1993 release by the same band that released blood red, very good, and very hard to find, I got lucky and picked it up for $7)

Anxiety-fearless (this was better than I thought it would be, great buy at

$4)

AKA- dangerous addiction ( I really liked this one as well, good hard rock.)

There is only one CD stuck in my CD player at the moment. The new Pyn Siren. This CD rocks from beginning to end. The boys from Skid Row should have put this out as a follow up to Slave To The Grind. Simply awesome to hear this type of music released in 2003.

Man Rick, haven't heard from you in awhile. That Pyn Siren sounds like something I ought to try. I usually won't buy releases that late unless many recommend it...Tim. :headbanger:

    • Dunno him...but it says this person is legendary  couldn't even be bothered to google the name.
    • Yeah, and with the January releases by H.e.a.t, Passion & GOK it looks like the new year is going off with a bang
    • Hopefully a very nice start to the new year. I'm looking forward to it.
    • Yeah, I remember the dude from LSD. I don't know about his life after LSD, but seems an odd choice as a first choice producer (even odder after hearing this album).  And yeah, I've never heard the other name either. I'm thinking, after this, that's for a very, very, very, VERY good reason.
    • I've never seen Def Leppard or Poison, so their set lists would still be fresh to me. Poison only play 8 songs, though? That's soft. I have friends who have seen Def Leppard on recent visits to Australia and they also said they were still very good.  Anyway, I don't for a second think this'll make it to Aussie shores.  I have seen Motley Crue a few years back (possibly on one of their last ever Aussie shows - one of them...). I enjoyed it 'cause I had great seats and I just loved seeing them, but Vince's every 10th word left a little to be desired.
    • I know, I know. We all know the answer but still I have to ask: So what happened to the "Cessation of Touring Contract" by the Crue?
    • Whoah... much better than I expected before clicking on them. Reminds me vocally of a lighter version of Lizzy Borden crossed with Rob Moratti. I'm going to have to track this one down.
    • from various internet sources: TYGERS OF PAN TANG will release their new album, “Ritual”, next Friday, while this Japanese edition including a bonus track appeared today. This is the band’s second recording by the current Tygers lineup, recorded with the help of renowned Søren Andersen, most recently known for his role as Glenn Hughes’s guitarist. Mastering done by Harry Hess (Harem Scarem). Tygers Of Pan Tang is a legendary band with some legendary albums, but I’m dare to say “Ritual” is one of their best. There’s a classic melodic hard rock feel all over the record, with some irresistible riffing, powerful grooves and catchy choruses. The mastermind here is original member, guitarist Robb Weir. The band’s current phase proves as formidable as its heyday, with longtime drummer Craig Ellis, vocalist Jacopo Meille, bassist Gavin Gray and guitarist Micky Crystal. “Ritual” wastes no time in stampeding the listener with the bursting “Worlds Apart,” one of the heaviest tunes on the album. Fair warning though – the straight forward chorus can stick in your mind for weeks, like a modern day version of “Gangland.” This isn’t the only instance on “Ritual,” this is an album chock full of hook laden rockers. “Destiny” slides in and the ride continues with a soulful voice. The pounding percussion is back and the riff are melodic, precise. The lyrics are thoughtful, and well written, and do tell a story, unlike many of these so-called hits of today in those other genres that just repeat over and over again. Slipping into the triple-twist of the steam train you’re on, comes, “Rescue Me“. There’s a simple riff and hook that becomes infectious, and still has you in its clutches. The vocals, clear and understandable, will have you singing along before you realize you’re doing it. The track that will “Raise Some Hell” is definitely the hidden gem on the record. This has got to be a live track used to get the crowd worked into a frenzy. Fast-paced, and rockin’ as hell. Screaming vocals, a rocket train paced guitar, and drums to match. If this song doesn’t get you off your backside and have your fist-pounding, then shut off the record and go back to your BackStreet Boys, because you’re listening to the wrong music! As this roller coaster continues, you reach the point where you just don’t wanna get off yet, and hope the rest is just as exciting. Luckily, you would be right. “Spoils Of War” might be the most melodic song of the bunch, but this midtempo still rocks hard and the solo kills. Masterfully played track. After a few more thrills, and twists, you know the ride is gaining its way to the final gate, but don’t take the safety bar off just yet. “The Art Of Noise” has yet another trick that will have you raising your fists into the air, and trying to catch your breath once again. Hang on, because you still have to “Sail On” until the end. Maybe not the most exciting part of this ride, but still an effective end. Clear concise vocals and equally as good playing from the rest of the Tygers are ever-present here. So sit back, and enjoy this last bit of this “Ritual” and to hell with keeping your arms and legs inside the ride at all times. “Ritual” may be the bast sounding Tygers album since 1981’s Spellbound, but don’t take me wrong, it’s still a fresh new album that stands on its own. You couldn’t ask for a more beautifully produced album. Presenting a top notch mix and crystal clear recording, the use of modern technology pays homage to the band’s legacy without succumbing to a thin lifeless sound. And songwriting is just as strong, as each musician performance. One of the best classic rock / traditional hard / melodic albums of the year. Raise those fists, and enjoy. Highly Recommended Tracklist: 01 – Worlds Apart 02 – Destiny 03 – Rescue Me 04 – Raise Some Hell 05 – Spoils of War 06 – White Lines 07 – Words Cut Like Knives 08 – Damn You! 09 – Love Will Find a Way 10 – Art of Noise 11 – Sail On JAPAN BONUS TRACK: 12 – Don’t Touch Me There (2019 Version) Robb Weir – Guitars Craig Ellis – Drums Jack Meille – Vocals Gavin Gray – Bass Micky Crystal – Guitars   BUY IT www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/MICP-11527
