The second, unreleased album from Electric Angels has finally been officially released, 25 years later, on Demon Doll Records.

 

Yeah, it's silver-pressed.

 

We've prolly all had this album in one form or another at some point, and now we can get it, again! I think I'll listen to my mp3s today as a reminder, to see if I still want it.

I remember finding the debut CD in the cut-out bins back in the fall of 1992 at the record store in the local mall and I played the living hell out of it for years to come... still gets dropped in my CD player from time to time today, and I still love it.

 

I'll probably pick this one up just to have it in the collection.

I loved the debut. The second album lost a bit of the magic but it's still a pretty decent disc.

I've listened to this one straight-through multiple times the past week or so during my daily commute, and while it's very good in places, it lacks the "ummmph" of the debut (which I loved and listened to about as much as any CD in the early 90's).

 

It's very possible (likely) my musical tastes have changed the past 25 years, but I'm also pretty sure if today were 1992 rather than 2017 I'd still prefer the debut, and by a wide margin.
