The funny thing is I realised there was a band I gave as much grace as you give House of Lords. But I can not, for the life of me, recall which one. Honestly, I'm very critical about my favourite bands.

I don't really mind his voice at all either. I agree it's not what it used to be, but jeez, it's still him and easily recognisable to how he's always been... just an aged version of the man. I'd personally rather acknowledge the inevitable aging of a good, reliable vocalist than just call the dude shit. Bit harsh, chaps...

 

Anyway, it's an average album... it just is. But I really like 'Hit The Wall' and the song above is actually my second fave. It's a shame about the average chorus because I absolutely love the verses.

I won't call it average as it's definitely above 75% for me, slightly above the last one, but still can't pass the 80% mark

i like 'Hit The Wall', 'The Sun..', 'New Day Breakin' and 'The Other Option', the rest are good and i can live without 'Reign of fire', 'Concussion', and 'Grains of Sand' but not bad by any means.

Never been a massive fan of his voice but he just sounds so strained now.
