How does the re-recording of ''I'm No Good For You'' sound?

Very good, in my opinion. I enjoy all the re-records greatly.

I enjoyed it. As others have stated, it's nowhere near the first few releases, but I didn't expect it to be. The production could be better. Good, solid hard rock overall though.

I got an Amazon gift card for Xmas so I used to to order Revelation Highway... thanks to their Auto-Rip thingy I got MP3s to tide me over till the CD arrives in the mail.

Long story short... me likee, though it took a few spins before it started to click... I wish there were a few more raunchy/heavy songs like the opener "Crash & Burn," and I wonder why they had to re-tread four old songs that were already released on "In The Beginning" (all that time on hiatus, and they still couldn't come up with a full albums' worth of fresh material?) but otherwise I dug it. Derek still sounds great, dude's got pipes.

Reviewed it in depth at my blog if anybody gives a crap:

I've given this more than a few spins now, and it's OK.
Anyone who liked the early BAD albums won't be disappointed.
Amazed at how this sounds so much like the early stuff, while also sounding current.

As for the songs, the good ones are

One Million Miles
Tears
Last Time For Love
Saturday Night

The rest is pretty average for me>
Look forward to another solo effort from Derek.

    • Not much information on the video's page, other than it appears to be an AI creation. Once it gets into the verse and especially the chorus, it's actually not too bad IMO.
    • While I appreciate your interest in contributing to the site, most of the artists and albums you are submitting are either REALLLLLLY stretching the boundaries, or as in the case of this band, completely off the mark. No alternagrunge. No punk. No death metal/power metal (although those can be submitted to Brutal Metal). You can always start a thread asking about a particular artist before blindly submitting it for inclusion. Thanks! -Dan
