It doesn't suck. But knowing how hard he can rock, it's disappointing.

That's another pretty good song, but yeah, obviously he's not really into rock music anymore, I guess it's pretty safe to say. Dozens of opportunities in that one to turn it into something a bit meatier, but no bite. The solo was a surprise considering his new-found hatred for guitars and rock music, but a nice bonus.

Tove Lo is modern pop/dance/electro...... but if one is not into that style at all, one might still find her video appealing for other superficial reasons

Haha, how dumb am I? I don't think I ever picked up in Don's version that he/they say "if you love me right, we fuck for life." Cool line, which I'm not sure I ever picked up on, lol. 

Fuck me I loved it when Don Vedda was a rock musician. Man I miss those days.

That 'Talking Body' is a cool song originally anyway, but he absolutely kills it with his version and makes it his own.

Yeah, in his version it's not so easy to hear that line. And with Tove Lo you just expect it in every song.

the original by Puddle of Mudd is a classic.

Unfortunately as much as I like Don his vocals aren't gritty enough for this song imo

I don't know the original song but I actually really like this. A lot. Best thing I've heard from Don for an age. 

I was hoping that second song was going to be a cover of one of my absolute favourite songs of 2020. Would love to hear it with Don on vocals. It'd be near-impossible to beat the original, though;

Hey I know this band. I remember checking out some of their songs on YouTube last summer but I guess I somehow completely missed this one out. Very cool tune. Really nice.

And yeah, Stand Atlantic are a cool band. 2020 album is good but I think not quite as consistent as previous releases, if memory serves. Made my top 20 for the year.
