Hey guys, i need some help with a soundtrack from a 1990 movie called "Kid" starring C.Thomas Howell. I saw it on laser disk when it first came out and i remember it had some great hard rock in it. Since then it has been almost impossible to find anything about it. Apparently "tattoo rodeo" sing on the end credits, but that's all i can find. Does anybody know the rest of the soundtrack tracklist? It's been so long, i can't remember anything about the songs, i just remember at the time i thought they sounded pretty good. I would be curious to see who it was. Cheers.

The entire film is on the FaceTubes. Maybe skip to the credits and see if anything is listed there.

I found the movie on youtube (didn't even think to look there). Thanks again. The end credit song is tattoo rodeo for sure and going by the chorus it's called "restless heart". Great song, but unfortunately due to the poor picture quality i can't read the text. There is a scene in the movie where one character is playing hard rock samples to another. They sound familiar, but i can't pick them. Watching that scene after so long has peaked my curiosity even more. Still need help.

OK, I was just about to post the film here, but you already found it. Yep, I actually laughed out loud, because, of course, it has to be too blurry to see. Heh. I'm gonna try messaging the uploader to see if they can help.

I've found nothing but I have asked on another forum where there are some soundtrack junkies. Will let you know.

This is actually a lot of fun. I've managed to figure out one of the songs in the credits.

Skull - I Like My Music Loud

Figured it out!

Paradise - Ghost Town

Von Skeletor - Get a Life

DV8 - Anything for Money

Beau Wesley and the Gleaming Spurs - 1 2 3 4 Get Her

Attakk - Thunder in the Night

Brian Rawling - Strangers

Dillinger - Hail the Lights Down Low

Skull - I Like My Music Loud

Beau Wesley and the Gleaming Spurs - Broken Heart Heaven

Young Gunns - Dance-Swing

Tattoo Rodeo - Restless Heart

If anyone has any leads on the bands without any samples added, I'm interested. Actually, I'm interested in any of these, really.

Wow nice work, some stuff I've never heard of there.

Thanks KarpetRyd. Great job. It's always good to have new leads. You're a Champion!

Not a problem.

I like solving puzzles, and combine that with my new-found interest in bands that never made it past the demo stage, or non-CD bands (all thanks to Russ' Baltimore thread) it was enjoyable.

    • Yup. Great stuff. Was my #2 album of 2023.
    • How the fuck did I miss this album? One of the happiest discoveries in a while.
    • Don't get me wrong. If AI can produce great music, I'll listen to it. And if people can enjoy playing with it, good for them, have fun. Who knows where AI will go. If it can spit actual facts rather than the shit we are fed today, then why not? Just today I did some research on the 'island of plastic' in the Pacific that's '3 times the size of France' I was wondering why I'd never seen satellite pics of this island. Never thought it was as big as they said, but if it's 110th the size, should be easily visible. Turns out there is no island at all. Also, more recycling can only reduce plastics in the oceans by about 20% max as 85% of the heavy plastics in the oceans are from the fishing industry. Also, 9% of micro plastics are from the dust created from car tyre wear and a whopping 40% of them come from..... Paint deteriorating and peeling! Hard to help the world when humans constantly lie and mislead us. So bring on AI I guess. Sorry, that turned into a bit of a rant...
    • Yeah, I certainly don't think the stuff we're doing on Suno is the future of music, it's just a very enjoyable hobby. I do think though, that AI is gonna be involved heavily in the future when it comes to all aspects of life. I don't think we're gonna see AI completely take over the music industry, but it will be used to enhance it. You could be the greatest technically skilled guitarist, pianist, vocalist, songwriter or whatever, but it's coming up with the melody that's the hardest part and there's no amount of training or practice that can help you with that. There are some very talented musicians that can inherently create melodies, but I think there are more incredibly talented musos that can't. That's where I think the value will be in this for a lot of musicians.    I guess it's a bit like when electronic music first appeared, using computers and synthesisers was considered weird and not really music. Electronic music didn't take over the industry, it just became a part of it. You're always gonna have real people playing instruments, singing, writing and creating melodies.    The bigger question is, will AI be used in the future to make strategic military decisions?, if it's not already. I'm fully expecting some "Skynet" shit down the track.
    • Not sure about when your credits reset, but I would assume it's on the date that you subscribed.  If you do find yourself having withdrawals, you can buy extra credits ranging from $4 for 500 to $30 for 4000. I've noticed the report button, but never used it. If I come across issues like the ones mentioned in the bug option, then I'll just trash them immediately, rather than fuck around with reporting them. Still haven't checked out Audacity yet. I'll try to over the weekend. It sounds pretty cool.
    • Aaaaaand that's a wrap on this year's drive! It raised 84% of goal of covering the out-of-pocket expenses for the year, so thank you everyone! I'll leave the donation buttons up for a little bit, in case there were any people who missed. -Dan

    • btw @Darkstone, have you ever noticed, known about, or used the Report feature? On the bottom of the three buttons on the right of a song. You click on it and then the Bug symbol and you can select low audio quality, doesn't follow lyrics, doesn't follow style instructions, poor structure or other, all with a box to tick. Bloody hell, wish I'd known about this four months ago. So many songs I'd have loved to pin, hopefully in the pursuit of a better product.  Used all my credits for the month, lol. Still got 15 days to go until a reset, I think. Sadness.
    • Yeah, good band, always reliable for a few keepers on their albums. Favourites on the new one are Doomsday, The Masqueradem Point Of No Return and Where Do We Stand.
