Treat - Ghost Of Graceland

The more I listen to this one the more I like it!

For lack of a better term, it's not as "Radio Friendly" as CDG, but it certainly stands on it's own merits and is a damn-fine recording.

I was completely wrong being overly concerned with the "Where we are now as a band" comment.

It does sound quite a bit different from CDG while maintaining that trademark TREAT sound. CDG just had better hooks, better beefier guitars, and just better songs.

As good as GOG is, I'd still take CDG every day and twice on Sunday!

Agree 100% AlphaMale. Really good album, but next to CDG not even close.

09. Too Late To Die Young - the most average song on the album not too much to it at all - 7.25

That's one of my favourite tunes on the whole album.

:)

Yep I agree - love this track!

I really like this band now. I saw them on Helge Å Festivalen almost by misstake. But I'm glad I did because when I was standing there in the crowd it really hit me that this is some really good music.

I have always known that there was a band called Treat but I never listen to them when I was younger. But now I listen to the new record all the time...

if you're new to them, check out the album prior to this one, it's called 'Coup de grace', we love it a lot, and of course don't forget 'Organized Crime' from the 80s, one of their best

After three hugely acclaimed and successful albums, this new line-up will certainly get the fans buzzing in anticipation of the new ‘Aquatic monster’. “Atlantis has been a testing journey for the band in many ways, taking into account some personal events and indeed the state of the business due to Covid-19. But, let us reassure you all, we believe that the new record is going to blow you away. It rocks more and has more symphony, courtesy of our good friend Mike Moran and his orchestra! We are super excited for everyone to hear what we believe is our finest album yet” – Greg Hart. Tracklist: 1. Dive! 2. Spaceship Superstar 3. Revolution 4. Sunday Best 5. Listen To The Radio 6. • New song 'Castaway'. Nice!
    • So I just heard this song, you all probably know of it, or not, I fucking really really like this song, I think it fucking rocks, but rocks in like a crossover Punk-Goth-Raw Hard Rock throwback to the Black Flag - Loose Nut type days, this song is completely raw, unpolished, and just dirty,
