1992 - Best Albums

Recommended Posts

I can live without most TNT. Grossly overrated within our genre.

I will disagree because 'Tell No Tales', 'Intuition', and 'My Religion' were gems but the rest are hit and miss although I think I can make a good 15-songs compilation off the rest :)

One of the absolute Golden years, but unfortunately it marked the beginning of the end.

I've narrowed it down to 21.

I was lucky enough to own and experience all of these albums upon release in '92. I still can't believe it was 30 years ago!

In no particular order...,

Wildside - Under the Influence

Hardline - Double Eclipse

Giant - Time to Burn

Roxus - Nightstreet

Steelheart - Tangled in Reins

Lynch Mob - ST

W.A.S.P. - The Crimson Idol

Gotthard - ST

Bangalore Choir - On Target

Warrant - Dog Eat Dog

Jackyl - ST

Haywire - Get Off

KISS - Revenge

Babylon AD - Nothing Sacred

House of Lords - Demons Down

Damn Yankees - Don't Tread

21 Guns - Salute

Def Leppard - Adrenalize

Unruly Child - ST

Bon Jovi - Keep the Faith

Firehouse - Hold Your Fire

Great year for sure! I would say Bangalore Choir is my favorite of that year, but an absolutely great list there.

Add it to the never-ending list of albums I have yet to hear. I know it's a classic, because you lot always talk about it, but I've never got around to picking it up. Like I've said before, I'm so far behind; I don't have the time and money to catch up as quickly as I'd like.

Have you had a chance to give "Bangalore Choir - On Target" a sping yet?

Yeah, a few times. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to all the hype.

I'm surprised you didn't like it. That's a shame.

I didn't say I didn't like it. It's a good album, but I guess after years of reading folks praise for it I built it up to be something more than it actually was.

If I had heard it fifteen years ago I imagine things would be different.
