To be honest I doubt Extreme will make my top 15. Might be top 20 ?

Extreme wouldn't make my top 50.

Do you even own 50 CD's? Why don't you post you collection to see what type of metal trips your trigger. Have you even heard Pornografitti?

Extreme's Ponrnografitti in second (although this one did not age well)

Whaaaaat?? You're killing me, Smalls...

But I think I know what you're talking about. I admit, I probably spin III Sides more.

This is by far the best release listed, still listen to this one to this day. One of the best discs ever produced seen them live in concert on this tour Nuno is a God on guitar.

I would kill to see them perform this album. I saw them at M3 last year, but, because it was a festival, they didn't play their proper set. Even still, it was a bucket list moment for me.

I saw them back in the day with Hardline supporting :-)

That would've been a show.

I've seen Nuno back in 2008, it's quite late but super excited when they finally perform in my hometown. I'm quite surprised to hear Gary's vocal is still very strong but the real highlight si Nuno. Man he plays like god, super funny, cool guy and not to sound so gay, but that dude has a great well-shaped body for his age !

Yeah I might rate Extreme Porno quite high too, I love the diversity and many fun strong songs here, cheers dude :)

I don't know how many CDs I have from 1990, but Extreme would be in my bottom 10 I'm quite sure, of the ones I'll actually bother to rate. I don't think I even still have the hard copy anymore. I think I sold that ages ago. The album never did a thing for me. If I'm being completely truthful, my favourite song from it is actually 'More than words,' lol.

Oh hell, BLUE TEARS is probably my favorite from 1990 even if I didn't discover it until sometime later that decade.

Just an awesome collection of super-catchy, hook-laden tunes that were stolen from the cassette recorder Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora used to record their jam session with Joe Elliott and Phil Collen one late 1987 evening when the two bands happened upon the same hotel in the same town while criss-crossing the USA in support of Slippery When Wet and Hysteria.

Yep, I easily love it that much!

Good call bro, probably fall around 85% but still a great disc as I recall.

So 'Big Game' is better than Blue Tears now? Stop it, man. Stop it!

Blue Tears is my most highly rated melodic rock / AOR / glam album so far, coming in at 96%. Yeah, for me that's just what music is about. Absolutely love that disc.

Big Game was 1989 if you mean White Lion and yes, it is much better than Blue Tears.

Nuno does look great. Only when you see him up close do you see that he might be in his forties. And I don't care if I sound gay.

Yeah I would say Extreme are an acquired taste....their brand of funk rock never worked for me either....

Can you stop it? Please. I actually think you're going to give my eyes AIDS with these awful things you say. If 'Big Game' is a better CD than Blue Tears - s/t it is official. I will just eat my pug. I'll just do it. That is absolutely ludicrous.

And yeah, I know the release years but I'm just referencing the fact that Nightrain rated 'Big Game' about 5-7% higher than Blue Tears. I think Blue Tears would probably rate about 40% higher for me.

I saw Hardline open for Mr. Big back in 1992 in Salem, Oregon. Awesome show start to finish (both bands).

I always said 1989-1991 were the 3 best years for music (with 1988 and 1992 on either side not being far off) and in saying that, I feel like the one in the middle - being 1990 - will be the best one too.

Does that mean you finished your 1989 list, Glen?

Im prob about 80% done but got bogged down with some dregs so i started 1990 to balance it out.

I love those years too but i know there are some classics from earlier in the 80s which will score extremely highly for me. Metal & AOR.
