I'm 45, and still love my crunchy guitars!

 

Me too, no doubt... but I simply prefer Journey (Escape) over Saxon (Wheels of Steel) now-a-days... and it wasn't always like that!

 

I think if I was to describe what I really like, it would be with the band W.E.T.

Not impressed,sounds too much like Stryper because of the vox.Cover artwork is lame-city.Looking forward to the new Lynch Mob though.

In all fariness, isn't that going to be true of ANY project that Sweet does lead vocals for? He has such a distinctive voice. If you don't like his voice, you won't like any of these projects.

 

Personally, I think the samples thus far sound fab.

 

P.S., Yes, the cover art is cheesy as hell.

Not convinced by September. Musically its cool and Sweet sounds good....but mmmm...the subject matter is a bit weird.

Well, I've heard the disc and it's about what I expected. Maybe in the 75% to 80% range.

 

There is one song where Lynch really sounds like Lynch. Lemme see if it's on Youtube.

 

 

edit: It's not. It's track 2 "Dying Rose". A really great track.
